It's Monday morning. Imagine Middleton Private School, kids picking out books out of lockers, the general hub-bub of school in the morning . This is the usual scene. Before Nhaire Compton enters.

Suddenly the door bursts open. And Nhaire and her posse walk in. Time slows down and all eyes turn to the door. Walking in a perfectly straight with Nhaire in the middle and her three lackeys, Stacii, Chelsea and Tracia. They were dressed in bright green, blue, purple and pink. Everything on their bodies were designer labels. Prada bags, Gucci shoes and exclusive shirts and bottoms. Their fingers were perfectly manicured and their pedicured toes peeked out their wedge shoes. Their nails were a pefect shade of shimmering peach and the aura around them seemed to proclaim: "Move out the way beeotches! The queen and her court are here! Bow before us, lowly peasants." The boys' mouths were open and drooling as usual while some girls rolled their eyes.

"Bitch alert guys," Khatrina, fondly called Khat announced.

"They must think they're queens or something," Kelsy spat with digust,"just because you're rich and popular doesn't mean you'll be sucessful."

"No but connections does. And you have to admit that they have those." Chrys chimed in. Khat and Kelsy rolled their eyes. Chrys grinned, knowing that he had caught them there.

Meet Khat and Kelsy. They've had a feud  with the 'populars' as they're called since six years ago when Nhaire moved to the neighborhood and took over school. Kelsy was once part of the clique but had been kicked for being too 'lame' to put up embarassing photos of Khat all over the school. Kelsy had then warned Khat and after they became best friends. To make matters worse, the clique had still put up the photos even after Khat had been warned and tried to frame Kelsy for their evil deed. She had nearly been suspended. From then on, they fostered a deep hatred for the clique.

"You always have to come in with some annoying remark," stated Khat, shaking her head.

"Unless of course, I'm in the presence of hot girls," said Chrys grinning all the while.

"Oh so we don't qualify? And come on, we know you've had a crush on Nhaire since like forever," Khat said and sighed, "and there's so many nicer girls than that," she turned and pointed at the ringleader of the clique who was dressed in hot pink, applying lipgloss in her frilly mirror situated on her locker door.

Kelsy winced while Chrys blushed. That was another reason why Kelsy hated Nhaire and her clique. Her crush and best friend,Chrys, was in love with Nhaire. Life sucked. She couldn't understand why he liked Nhaire instead of her. She was so much nice. She would prefer he like anybody except that bitch Nhaire. After all she was pretty. She had a perfectly rounded face, nice complexion, foxy, chocolate-coloured eyes, pouty lips, jet-black hair and a small button nose. Sure she didn't have much of a taste in colours but at least she didn't wear slutty clothes that revealed everything your mom gave you. She had loved Chrys for as long as she could remember. To her, he was perfect. He had luxurious brown hair that you could run your fingers through for hours on end. His eyes were deep green and were the kind that made you feel like they were gazing into the depths of  your soul. His nose was small yet aristocratic. His lips were  small and pink and looked soft like a pillow. Very handsome... The things she would do for the chance for hi to be hers...

"I love you Chrys...." Oops, did she just say that out loud?

"What was that?" Chrys turned his eyes on me.

"Nothing, oh nothing..." The bell rang just in time.
