Diana's Story

There was this girl. Lets call her Diana. She wasn't like the other girls. She loved animals, music and art. She played violin since she was 7. She's 12 now. Diana got bullied everyday even on her birthday since she was 4. She just ignored it and took the beatings and name calling and when she got to grade 5 she started to get bullied even more. The teachers didn't do anything neither did the principal. Her mum tried to help but it didn't do any good. By grade 6 she had had enough. One of the boys was teasing her bout a crush she had.
Diana snapped and pushed him into a wall and had him by the throat with her arm. “BACK OFF IVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU SO SHUT UP.” she said through gritted teeth. The next day her crush the boy and a few others had to work to together in a group and Diana asked the boy why he was being abnormally nice. “I realised that I should be nicer to you so yeah.” all of his friends were nice to her that afternoon while they were waiting for the bus because they knew about what happened with the boy that was teasing her.
One of the boys , her crush we'll call him Ayden, said a few things he didn't mean and Diana started to cry. She ran off heartbroken. When Ayden realised what he had done he walked over and said sorry. It went like that for the whole year. The last time he got her mad she was about to punch him when his girlfriend had to step in for him. The next year started and Ayden was a totally different person. His personality changed. He just wasn't himself. On Diana's birthday she wore a pair of nerdy glasses so she could be stupid around her friends and she got bullied the most all year throwing paper balls at her, mean notes, calling her names.
She cried. She got to the bus line and she tried to forget about it but when she got on the bus Diana cried and cried and cried for an hour ride home. When she got home she pretended it was a good day but when her parents went to bed she cried and cried. She had enough. Enough of the pain, enough of the crying enough of life she got a pin and put a small hole in her wrist right on the vein. She then sliced a centimetre long line on it. It bled a small amount and she prayed it would bleed enough so she wouldn't wake up but she did.
She only told her best friend Darcy about it. Time passed and her and Ayden became friends and Diana had fallen in love with another boy Niall. Darcy and Diana had a HUGE fight that lasted for two weeks. They wouldn't even go within a meter of each other. Finally they made up and then on the last week of term 3 the whole grade had a maths week. Diana's group which sadly didn't have Darcy in it, had a fight because one of the girls was being mean to Diana and the other girl started to be mean as well.
Ayden was the first to notice Diana crying on the floor. He walked up to her and sat down “What's wrong?” she explained the fight and she had to go outside to breathe. She cried for 15 minutes and when she went back in and asked the teacher if she could get a drink she had to bring someone with her and at that moment Ayden walked past. They went and got a drink and they talked for a while she explained what the girls were doing and he listened to her.
He was always the first one to find out about everything: when she liked someone, when she was upset, all her secrets, all but her suicidal attempt earlier that year. Just before they walked into the building Diana stopped Ayden. “You know how your the first to find out like, everything?” “Yeah?” “well there's one thing I didn't tell you. After my birthday cause all the boys were teasing me and picking on me I slit my wrist and I literally prayed that night I wouldn't wake up. But now I'm happy I didn't. Your a great friend Ayden.” “thanks Diana” they walked inside and he went and sat with his group and Diana went to hers. The girls said sorry and they got their assignment done.
