Ugg. Thomas was back from scouting and that signals a cruel awakening for me.
It isn't bad enough that i never get to shift, but oh no, i also happen to have the best hearing for Thomas's oh so beautiful squawks.
I hate my life sometimes.
"Hey guys!!"
He shouted as he changed into his human form, landing lightly on the balls of his feet.
I sigh and roll over. Ever since the day i met him Thomas has been a thorn in my side, well in everyone's side actually. Not to mention the uncontrollable jealousy i felt towards all of them. Being able to shift whenever they please, and experiencing no pain when they did. Sometimes I could say it was more painful than turning into a shark.
I decided it was best to see what he found instead of pretending to sleep.
But when i turned over on to my back i saw him leaning over a sleeping Alec with a glob of spit hanging between them.
"THOMAS!!!!!" I yelled.
Alec snapped awake and screamed while Thomas stumbled back and fell on his butt.
"Really?" Asked Kate, getting up from her own pile of leaves and walking over to Thomas, who just shrugged in reply.
"Get up," she said forcefully, grabbing his hand and hauling him to his feet.
She placed her hands on her hips. "So, what was it?"
Again, Thomas shrugged and then he smiled. "It was a big castle in the middle of a forest in North America. Real fantasy like."
Alec scoffed and stood up, walking to Kate. "Cause that makes sense" he spoke sarcastically.
"Well, all the more reason to examine it closer." Kate smiled.
We all groaned in unison.
