                     *Three years later*
                        Thomas' pov
It's been three years now and I haven't seen Jojo since I got adopted by these people.
"Come on he has to go on this quest now that he's twelve!" I heard my dad yell at my mom.
"Randle I don't want him to go he's to young" mom said obviously about to cry. "Don't make him go he's just a child."
"Beth he has to go find them!" Dad was angers now, but all I could think about once u ran to my room was he has to find THEM.
"Who's them" I asked myself all night.
                      *next morning*
"Morning mom morning dad morning Maya." I said happy.
"Thomas we need to tell you something." Mom said with a tear.
"Mom are you ok?" I asked.
My dad looked at mom and nodded.
"Thomas you need to go on a mission." Mom told me looking me dead in the eyes without blinking.
I broke the eye contact "mom can't this wait till after school I'm gonna be late." I said starting to get scared.
"No" dad sad as he blocked the door and sat me back down.
"You don't have to go to school for 10 months." Mom said.
"Cool" I said trying to brighten the mood.
"THOMAS!" Dad yelled startling me.
"Randle stop yelling I got this." Mom told dad calmly. "Thomas you have to start a quest today."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Tom your going to go find your siblings. You have a biological brother, two step brothers and two step sisters not including Maya." Dad said without hesitation.
"Maybe we should tell him," mom told dad.
"Then tell him Beth what are you waiting for," dad snapped with annoyment.
"Ok," mom said as she fiddled around in her bag. "Does she look familiar?"
I grabbed the picture from them and jumped back. "No!" I yelled. "It's not her it can be!" A tear went down my face. 
"Tom settle down." Dad said. "If you want to get to her find them in this order, Zander Kuc...
"Wait can I write this down?" I asked.
"I'm sorry sweety if you do your friend gets beat up." Mom said.
"Ok never mind I don't want Jojo to get hurt because of my mistakes." I said signaling my dad to go on.
"Anyways Zander Kuc, Faith secret, Max secret, Jazel secret, William secret, and finally Jojo sywa. Any questions." Dad said.
"What if I mess up and find them out of order lol Zander then Max?" I asked hoping it had nothing to do with Jojo.
"Then Jojo gets hurt. So what ever you do not get off track. One more thing don't stop think of us as your mom and dad that's what I want you to think about the entire the order of them and us as your parents. Once you think of us as just random people Maya will be the first to disappear." Dad told strictly.
"Ok I promise but why do I have to go on this journey?" I asked.
"Because your the chosen one the only trust worthy one and when you get back in 10 months we want you to have all the people your looking for alive. And if they are all alive when you come back we will tell you something very important that we can't tell people when we first see them." Mom said finally speaking up.
"Oh and before you go," dad said. "Take this survival pack and what ever you do don't get off that track for anything first time Jojo gets a punch, smack anything."
"Why are they torturing Jojo she didn't do anything." I yelled getting very angry.
"They know she's your only friend and your her only friend so it's easier for them to get to you." Dad said as he left the room.
"Oh and what ever you do promise me two things you will ignore the voices and you won't open the sack unless you really need something like a weapon." Mom told me as she left the room too.
"Go ahead and start your sack has an automatic GPS. But all you need to say is 'I'm ready to go' and it will pull u straight to your path you need to follow." Maya said and she ran up stairs.
"Ok I can do this," I whispered to myself. "I'm ready to go"
Without a second to think I was jerked across my back yard. Finally was at the edge of the woods a brown path I knew that I had to follow it. I walked down the path and stopped at a really dark cave I wasn't sure if of this was an emergency to dig into the bag, but the only thing I knew was I needed a flashlight badly. All of a sudden the bag jumped off my back and went to my hand it was unzipped a little bit and out popped a flashlight.
I turned on the flashlight and saw that there where two things on the other end. A way out and something on the floor.
