Today is me and Jane's 10th birthday, yes we have the same birthday and that is not weird like Leah says it only brings me and my bestfriend closer. I also forgot to mention that they are my only friends, because i don't like anyone and everyone else don't like me but, i have Jane and Alex so i don't mind. Well i was over at their house again and it was just us cause their parents died when we were in 3rd grade but we don't tell anyone cause then they would be taken away from me and separated them from each other and they would be taken cause Alec is 14 and that is not the age you are aloud to take care of children. it was like any other birthday we had Jane with her blackish hair that has turned almost blonde, you know how people's hair gets darker over time well hers is the opposite and gets lighter. Any way we were in their dining room i was holding a stuffed bear that Alex got me an was wearing a bracelet Jane had got me and Jane had a locket the shape of a bell with a picture of all of us in it and i got her a stuffed doll that we saw in the store that she wanted but couldn't afford. We were so happy, that was until there was a pounding on the door and when Alex went to look he came back with two backpacks filled with our stuff, "you need to do as i saw and whatever happens you don't turn around or stop running, ok, promise me." Alex said "ok, but what will happen to you?" Jane and i said in unison. "that doesn't matter, what matters is that your safe now go!out the back door and run, don't stop for anything and keep each other safe, i love y'all." An by this time we were crying but then the pounding grew harder and louder and it sounded like the door was going to break. So i grabbed Jane's hand and we ran out just as the door broke ,we were about to Enter the forest when there was a loud bang and we knew that sound all to well. It was a gun firing and Jane screamed as did i because that only means that Alex is gone and not only did we scream loud we stopped and looked back and we caught the Attention of someone in the house, so i grabbed her hand and ran we ran an ran but they were catching up and i knew perfectly well who it was chasing us. My dad and his pack, they were getting closer so we climbed they nearest tree and stayed silent because if we made a sound they would look up and find us. "sir we chased them here and then the scent just stopped."my sister replied. "ok, so all we have to kill is the girl because i shot the demon boy." I had to coven Jane's mouth just so she wouldn't scream and give away or hiding spot. I just can't believe my family would do something like that, it's a good thing Jane has never meet them and i will make sure she doesn't ever meet them because i promised Alex that if anything ever happened to them i would keep Jane and myself safe. There were more of a family to me then my actual one and i stayed with Jane and Alex almost every day.An to think Alex is gone is crazy an let's get something straight my friends aren't demons they are just magic, Jane can make all the mean people get hurt with her head and Alex can make people black out and feel really funny, it feels like you are slipping out of yourself and feel nothing, but he has to touch you for it to work. When we were hearing their plans we didn't notice that one of the smaller branches Jane was holding was about to snap and when it did i pulled her back from talking but she screamed a little and that caught the whole groups attention. We were being staired at by 6 evily mean people who i thought were my family but now my only family is Jane and i will not let them take her from me!
