Alana smiled to herself as she put her uniform on. She'd finally reached High School. Briefly, she glanced at Blair's gift on her nightstand. A red, bowed hair band. There was no way she was going to wear it.

Everyone thought Alana was a Mini Blair already. So Alana skipped down the stairs. "Wise men say, only falls rush in.
But I can't help falling in love with you.
Shall I stay
would it be a sin?" Alana sung to herself.

"Elvis Presley's Number 1 Fan has arrived." Blair snorted. "Aww, thanks." Alana grinned at her sister. "It wasn't a compliment." Blair said rolling her eyes.

"Don't be cruel to a heart that's true.
Don't be cruel to a heart that's true.
I don't want no other love,
Baby it's just you I'm thinking of." Alana sung as they got into the limo. "Whatever. You better not embarrass me." Blair snapped.

"When have I ever?" Alana asked smiling widely at the thought of going to Constance. "How about the day you were born?" Blair retorted. Blair and Alana didn't exactly have a close sisterly bond. But you probably already guessed that...

Alana saw Serena searching the Dining Hall. "Serena!" Alana smiled hugging her. "Alana! How are you?" Serena replied. Alana smiled. "I don't do any vulgar movements. So good." Alana replied.

Serena laughed. "Elvis Presley quote?" Serena guessed. "How did you know?" Alana asked with a faux gasp. "Anyway, who you looking for?" Alana asked tilting her head to the side.

"Just Blair." Serena shrugged. "Try the MET steps. But be prepared for a Waldorf showdown." Alana told her. "You haven't had any showdown's today?" Serena laughed.

"Not yet. But I still have the rest of the day left." Alana replied shrugging.

Alana fell as a boy accidentally walked into her. "I'm so sorry." He sighed. "It's cool. I'm Alana Waldorf. I don't really expect to be anyone. You?" Alana replied helping him up.

"Dan Humphrey. And I'm sure you will be someone. With the last name, Waldorf, I'm sure you'll get far in life." Dan replied. "Aw thanks. You wanna have much with me?" Alana replied smiling.

"R-right now?" Dan asked in disbelief. "When else?" Alana laughed. "I-I just thought, you know, that because I'm a nobody, you wouldn't want to." Dan said awkwardly.

"Oh of course not. Plus it's nice to talk to someone out of the Upper East Side." Alana smiled. "I'm from Brooklyn." Dan told Alana wondering if she'd change her mind. After all, her sister was Queen B.

"I love Brooklyn! It's so free. And oh my god, the coffee. It's delicious and so much cheaper than in Manhattan!" Alana smiled. "Th-thanks." Dan stammered.

Alana smiled. "You're so cute!" Alana squealed.

It seems Princess Waldorf knows not of the rules of the Upper East Side either that, or she doesn't care. Lunch with Lonely Boy? You could be sitting with S, but instead you pick a Brooklyn Nobody? I wonder what Queen B will do. Knowing her little sis is misbehaving. Then again, this Princess is nothing if not unconventional...

Alana laughed at the blast. "If only Gossip Girl had a chance to meet you. Then maybe she'll change her perspective." Alana said thoughtfully. "Maybe. But probably not." Dan shrugged.

"I suppose." Alana smiled. "But why did you choose to sit with me, when you could sit with anyone else?" Dan asked. "Because you're nice. You don't judge me by my surname or my bank account and I think that's very admirable." Alana told him smiling wider.

"Plus, I decided I'm going to earn my friends, not buy them." Alana explained shrugging. "How sweet." Blair hissed at them, her minions in tow. "B! Care to join us?" Alana asked pulling out a chair.

"With that? He's probably got bed bugs from Brooklyn." Blair sneered. "I-I can leave." Dan said standing up. Alana pouted and pulled him back. "No. You got here first." Alana said determinedly.

"Are you trying to dig your social grave?" Blair asked annoyed. "I never had a social life, silly." Alana laughed. Blair pursed her lips and counted to 10 to stop from screaming down the school.

"Well, I'm going to get you one." Blair told her as calmly as possible. "I'll just throw it in the trash. I don't want one." Alana replied shrugging. Then she turned around.

"You look like an angel
Walk like an angel
Talk like an angel
But I got wise
You're the devil in disguise
Oh yes you are
The devil in disguise." Alana sung as she skipped away.

Princess Waldorf, Welcome. It seems songs sing louder, than words ever spoke. In the form of the Princess' favourite singer, Elvis Presley of course. (You're The) Devil In Disguise as an insult? No one's ever done such a thing to Queen B. This Princess really needs to learn the ropes of High School. For the meantime, this may be a Waldorf vs Waldorf showdown. Unless, Princess hasn't the guts because we all know, Queen B certainly does.

"Alana! You naughty girl." Serena laughed. Alana shrugged. "B was boring me. Anyways, let's prepare you for your meeting. This calls for shopping!" Alana squealed tugging Serena into the nearest shop.

"Yes ma'am." Serena joked. "Go on, S, get in that changing room and try some cute dresses on." Alana laughed. "Thanks for giving me a second chance." Serena said gratefully.

"It's okay. At least you didn't leave with a male model." Alana replied smiling. But it was clear behind her joking tone, Alana was slightly bitter about the situation.

"I suppose." Serena sighed. "Anyway, let's try these on." Serena smiled holding a pile of dresses. "Of course, S." Alana smiled back.
