The roses in the garden look good today. However, you're almost positive they've looked better. In previous years, they were much more beautiful. But maybe not. You're eyes have changed sense you last saw them, haven't they? They change everyday. They grow, they see other things. Other flowers, in neighbors gardens, nicer than the roses. And there is no way to truly look back, see and feel and hear everything the way it was. They are just thoughts, unable to see the past, unable to see the roses. Just able to think. To think they were beautiful. Your neighbors daisies are beautiful. But you don't have daisies. You can't seem to grow them either. You're garden can only grow roses. You chose roses, the flower you loved. You water them and you keep the weeds out, but the roses aren't daisies. You want your garden to be beautiful, but it's filled with roses. Roses you don't want to take care of, roses you wish you could easily replace. Roses you can't live with. But could you really live without them?
