Me:"Everyone, listen closely and wisely. We have to split up into groups. No one, and I mean no one, goes alone."
Angela:"What if something happens?! We can't split up!! Jake are you crazy?"
Me:"If we don't, a larger group could be worse. Anything could see it as a bigger threat."
Marisa:"I'm sorry, but who else is here to see us as a threat?"
Oskar:"Our whole reason for coming was to find and spirits or ghosts that could be here, some could be helped, and others are angry. Jake is right. We need to split up."
Austin:"Why doesn't everyone shut the hell up and let Jakey pooh talk."
Chad:"Well, what groups do we split into?"
Me:"Becky will go with me, Austin and Marisa go together, and Oskar, Chad, and Angela go together. We meet back in the kitchen in two hours whether or not we've found our stuff. Do not get lost. We don't have our things. If anything happens, try to find another group. Bring back anything that is useful. We'll need it.
•The divided groups split up and went their separate was. Jake and Becky went towards the North Wing, Austin and Marisa went towards the West Wing, and Oskar, Chad, and Angela went to the basement.•
