You had just had one of the worst day of your life, one of those days when at the end of it you just want to cuddle up to someone and cry. But you couldn't because your boyfriend Justin wasn't home, he was on the Asian part of his Believe Tour. Yeah you were proud of him but sometimes you just really needed him to be here for you.
It all started when you woke up that morning, you got out of bed and stubbed your toe on the door frame as you were heading into the bathroom. Then as you were getting dressed you found a hole in your favorite top. After changing your outfit and going down the stairs you grabbed your coffee and headed to work. The traffic was horrendous making you a good 15 minuets late and to make matters worse you spilled your coffee all over your car. When you got inside you got chewed out by your boss for being late and then you realized you left your lunch at home. The day progressed like this, little things happening here and there that just made your day horrible. On the car ride home you were practically in tears already, all you wanted to do was go home and cuddle with Justin. But you couldn't which just added to the list of horrible things that have happened today.
You pulled into your driveway and parked the car, taking a minuet to compose yourself so the neighbors didn't think you were psycho(because let's face it neighbors are nosy) then you walked inside. Shutting the door behind you, you took off your jacket and heels, setting your purse down on the table you let out a heavy sigh. Walking over to the couch you noticed that the TV was on.
"Um.....hello....??" You quietly called "is anyone there?"
Wiping your tears away from your eyes so you could see better you noticed a figure standing in the doorway.
"Hey babe, miss me?" Justin's raspy voice asked.
"Justin!? oh my God I thought you were supposed to be gone for 2 more weeks?! I've missed you so much." You yelled out as you ran to him, jumping into his arms and wrapping your legs around his waist you snuggled your face into his neck. Trying your best to keep your crying silent.
"I missed you too babe." He sighed as he kissed the top of your head. You accidentally let a small sob slip out of your mouth, hoping he didn't notice, not wanting to take away from the fact he just got home. He paused for a second looking down at you "baby are you crying?" he asked his words full of concern.
You didn't answer for a second. But as soon as he asked that question all the events of the day came flooding back. "no" is what you tried to say but it just came out as a hiccuping sob, followed by you breaking down in his arms.
"Aww baby, it's okay I'm here." he whispered in your ear as his grip on you tightened. You felt him move towards the sound coming from the TV, one arm left your back for a minuet and you let out a whimper.
"Shhhh", was Justin's response. seconds later the TV was turned off and his arm was once again wrapped around you. You let out another loud sob trying your best to control your crying, he started rubbing your back softly as he ascended the stairs bringing you two up to your bedroom.
He walked up to the door and entered the bedroom slowly walking to the bed. Pulling back the covers and setting you guys down softly, never letting you go. When you were in the bed curled up in his arms, comforter pulled over your bodies, him still slowly and softly rubbing circles on your back, you finally started to quite your sobs.
"Do you want to tell me what happened?" his voice was gentle and comforting. You shook your head no as you fisted his t-shirt burying your head deeper in his neck. "okay princess, you just want to cuddle, eh?"
"Yes" you squeaked.
"Okay baby. I'm here for you." he started softly singing Be Alright as you slowly became more tired, incredibly great-full that he came home early.
"I love you baby." was the last thing you here'd before you drifted into unconsciousness wrapped in his strong warm arms.
