Dance Academy

Chapter 1

I got back from school that day and just like yesterday there was no letter in the mail from the school. I send a letter to the school like a month ago and they can't send me a letter back. I feel like I have been waiting forever for the letter to come in the mail. I can't wait any longer for the letter but I need to wait to see if I can make it in dance academy. I really like to get in to the school to become a better dancer and learn more about dance.

Oh I'm sorry I didn't even tell you my name. My name is Noel Simpson and I am a dancer.

Then the next day rolls around and I wake up. I get ready to go to school and the day goes fast. I enjoy my high school but I can't wait to see if I get to go to dance academy. I finally get home and go check the mail. I look in the mail box and see a package. I'm so excited! I run to my house and open the package as soon as I get inside it was a lot of papers but then I found the letter in big print it said " Thank you Noel for your letter to dance academy, we are glad to tell you that you have been accepted."

I was ecstatic and I had to go tell my parents that I got into the school. I know it's far away but I have waited all my life for this. My parents had congratulated me for getting in. But here comes the hard part that I need to tell them I am leaving in a week. It became later in the day and I was so tired of being excited I need to sleep.

Next morning. This is a good day because I'm only 5 days away until I leave for Ohio. I know it is almost an 8 hour plane ride but I can last. It's going to be hard for Americans to understand me because I am from United Kingdom.

I went to school for those last 5 days in United Kingdom and now it was the day I am leaving for Ohio. I still can't believe I'm leaving in 2 hours. I should go get dressed and get ready well I'm at it. The last hour went by fast and it is now only 1 hour until I leave. I should probably go that I can make my flight.

I get to the airport and see the desk where I check in. I go and end up at the tunnel that leads to the plane. I talk to my parents for a few minutes then they call my plane number I have to go. I give my parents a huge hug and a kiss on the cheek. I say goodbye and left to go on the plane. I finally get on my first plane ever and I'm so nervous. I am so excited to get to Ohio but I need to get through the almost 8 hour plane ride.
