I was running. I was running through a dark hallway, windows surrounding me and shadows moving around. They launched themselves at me, but never quiet being able to grab me. I was panting hard, willing my legs to pump faster. I was sprinting by now, determined to get back to Shaun. His screams could be heard in the distance as I started to panic. I hit a dead end, there was no where else to go. I turned around and saw it; it reached towards me.
I bolted out of bed. Drenched in a cold sweat, muttering under my breath "it was just a nightmare". I laid in bed, watching the rain pelt my window with a quiet tapping sound. I glanced at the clock the bright red lights flashing at me that it was 4:27 am. I decided there was no point in going back to bed, so I got up leaving my room and walking down the silent hall way. The silence being interupted by Shauns snoring ever so often. As I wandered through my living room I stoped. I turn slowly, my heart hammering against my chest. As it comes into full view I gasp suddenly.
