Chapter 2

“Do you know anything about this Ayoto?” Reiji directed his attention to the red head who was still perched on the sofa.

“Hah?” Ayoto said rudely giving him a glare before turning his attention to Yang. “How am I supposed to know? You didn’t say anything about it, Mochiko.”

“Mochiko?” Yang questioned scrunching up her face, already disliking her new nickname.

Ayoto gave her a curt nod, the same cocky smirk spreading across his lips again. “Yeah, you have two soft round mochikos on your chest~”

Yang quirked up an eyebrow at his response, before crossing her arms over her chest. “You are such an ass,” she scoffed jerking her head away.

“We should not be talking here,” both turned their attention to Reiji, who seemed to be deep in thought. “Come,” he instructed spinning around and walking briskly down the hall.

Yang was taken aback by how quick his pace was and she jogged off just to keep up with him. She looked over her shoulder to find Ayoto watching her disappearing figure with a displeased expression. She rolled her eyes and sent him a two-finger salute.

He blinked in surprised and a faint smirk crept onto his face when her figure disappeared around the corner. He slowly pushed himself up from the green sofa and walked off in another direction.

“Please sit down.”

Yang complied, settling herself on the small blue sofa in the large den. Reiji stood in front of her and Ayoto, who seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, sat in one of the two chairs.

“Now,” Reiji began catching her attention and she looked up to face him. “In the interest of formality, let us begin by having you tell us about yourself and how you came to enter this house.”

Ayoto watched the girl closely. Studying her face her facial expression remained neutral and her eyes were half-lidded as if her thick lashes weighed them down. Her orbs were a bright silver color, a color which was rare for both vampire and humans alike.
