Delilah's POV:

Tonight was the night. It was the night I finally get to escape them. The things. They don't even deserve that name. They shouldn't even be existent. I was in the middle of packing my bags when I heard a knock at my door. I ignored it and continued packing. The knocking came once again. Who is willing to talk or even distract me, whoever they are, they are dumb as goldfish. I went to the door and looked through the peek hole. It was Francis. I opened the door slightly with an annoyed look plastered on my face. She was looking up at me hopefully and happily.

"Delilah? You answered? I thought you were gonna igno-" she started.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. What do you want? I'm sort of busy here." I interrupted.

"I was hoping you could tuck me in tonight. I'm getting tired of Steph tucking me in." She asked.

"Why tonight out of all of those 70445 days. Why do you want me to tuck you in tonight?" I asked curiously. Thinking about it, this is probably the most I have ever spoken to my family.

She tugged on my arm making me bend down and she got onto the tip of her toes. She whispered in my ear:

"I have something to show you."

I sighed and gave in. She giggled and did a little happy dance knowing that I gave in. We started walking down the hallway. Guess everyone was asleep because the lights were dimmed. To be honest, I don't even know what time it is. We came in front of her door and she quickly said.

"Don't freak out he is my soul mate."

She opened the door to reveal a big black and white spotted wolf. My fangs extended and my eyes instantly went red. I got into my attacking pose, as did the wolf. I felt 2 little arms push my back and inside the room. I couldn't unlock my stare with the wolf because if I did, he would think I was weaker. The door closed quietly and I heard little footsteps walk towards the wolf. It was Francis. What is she doing? Is she trying to get herself killed?!

As she neared the wolf, his stare began to soften. Oh! The wolf is Francis's soul mate. I get it now. As soon as I figured that out I retrieved my fangs back into my gums and my eyes changed back to their natural blue. The wolf shifted to show a little boy around Francis's age. Huh?

"Delilah, this is my soul mate Michael who is a werewolf. Michael this is Delilah my sister."

He walked closer and I could already smell the odour of him. He smelt like a dirty, wet dog and that doesn't smell pleasant, with my senses heightened it doesn't make the smell any better. He reached out his hand trying to make me shake it. Yeah, uh, don't think so. I kept my hands by my sides and he retrieved his hand once he understood I wasn't going to shake it. This is awkward.

"So are you going to bed or?.................." I asked trailing off at the end.

"We are running away Delilah." Francis admitted bluntly.

"We are going to the east side of town then we are going to move to America." The werewolf said. I forgot his name, make a new one up for him. I know! Bob.

"Ok, Francis. Have fun then." I said starting to walk out of her room.

She started to ramble but I just ignored it. I guess I'm going to the west side of town now. Great...... It's where my family hunts. I will have to deal with this sh*t. If your asking why I'm going towards the west side of the town, it's because I don't want to have a clash with my sister after I run away, especially if she has a stupid werewolf hanging around her 24/7. No thanks, I don't want to smell that stinky odour anytime soon.

I finished packing and opened my window. I put my suitcases in my hands and jumped out. The fall didn't hurt my legs at all because I'm already dead so how am I meant to experience pain? That was a rhetorical question, don't answer it. I accidentally dropped some of my bags because of the sudden impact but I quickly gathered them again.
