"I have decided to make Fridays a weekly Open Mic. Before we read, if anyone wants to share they get the chance to, at the beginning of class of every Friday, from now until the end of the year," Mrs. Carpenter explained to the whole class.
No one seemed to care, but I did. I was excited to not have to worry about Mrs. Carpenter asking me to share another time because class was too busy. Stuff like that was why Mrs. Carpenter was my favorite. Many people didn't like her because they said she was strict, but I can work with strict. I could work with strict and friendly. Those were usually my favorite teachers.
