                           Jayda's P.O.V.
Everyone looked at me like I was a disease. I was the exact opposite. I guess nobody really was used to me being immune. Hell, I wasn't even used to it. But if I was going to be here, they had to get used to it. So did I. I hear Rick yell and run outside, Daryl at my heels.
Outside, Rick stands at the fence, staring at a group of people... and a tank. Soon, everyone was outside, including Daryl.
" You don't have to do this. We can all live, together. " This was Rick.
" Liar. " Some guy, looking like a prick, which it seemed he was, swings his sword and it slices into an Hershall's neck.
" Nooooo!" Rick, Beth, and Maggie all say at the same time. Blood pools around Hershall's wound.
Looking at Beth, her tears match her sister's. Rick holds up his gun and starts to shoot. A guard tower was on fire. That explains the boom I heard earlier. The tank fires a few more times, putting holes in my home. Maggie and Beth run towards the prison bus. Soon after, Maggie runs out screaming Glenn's name. He was obviously left behind.
All this time, I was just standing there, doing nothing. Daryl comes behind me and says something. I can't hear him over the gunfire.
"... come on, Jayda," he says, " Help us. We're bein' attacked. We need you. "
" He just cut off Hershall's head, " I am crying. Hershall was good to me. He was at least nice, took care of me. Another explosion rattles my ears.
The bullets around us are flying at random, hoping to find a living target. A pain shoots across my thy, and I scream and fall.
" Come on, Jayda," Daryl yells over the shooting and moans of the biters, " Come on. It's over. We gotta get going. "
Beth runs over and asks if we've seen Maggie. I shake my head as Daryl tells her to help me up.
" Jayda, get on my back. " Daryl orders.
" This is no time for piggy back rides, Daryl. This is serious. " I reject his offer.
" It's a super serious piggy back ride. " At that comment, I get on his back.
He runs away from the prison, I on his back, Beth trailing close behind.
                       Daryl's P.O.V.
Jayda was light, despite her strength. The prison, my forgotten home, burned behind us. I look back, and notice Jayda  nodding off.
" Beth," I whisper, " Tap 'er shoulder."
As she does so, Jayda's pretty little eyelids fly open.
           No! Dixon, what-
             Shut the hell up, bastard.
" Gotta get down. " I tell her.
Jayda slides down my back and yawns. Not long after, she starts to half-sleep walk.
I hold out my arms, telling her that I can carry her like that. She allows me to pick her up, again noticing her lightness. Not a single walker disturbs us on our long tread for shelter.
