Once upon a time, in the early centuries, there lived a young girl. Her name was Victoria Kingsman. From the moment she entered the world, everyone was cruel to her. Her only best friends were her parents. An only child who lived in a world. A cruel world with cruel people. There was one other girl who was the most despicable. Always was more beautiful somehow. Better. On her 2nd birthday, she had become the princess of the town. At school, she won the heart of every boy. This young girl was named Adeline. Adeline Montgomery was the most beautiful. Years later, Victoria turned 18 years old. Her mother had set up a long sky blue gown for her to wear. The maids had come to fix her hair.
"Today, I am going to be the fair maiden."
"I am sure you will my darling," said her mother as she gracefully walked into her daughter's bedroom. She tied the little black bow into Victoria's hair and left the room. Victoria only sighed.
"What happens when she ruins my party again.'
"Then you will remember that you are loved and enjoy yourself today. As long as you can do that, you will be just fine."
Victoria nodded her head and slid down the banister to eat. She sat down with her family for what she soon knew as her last family meal. After she was all energized and clean, she ran out the back door. Her big, bright smile soon disappeared. No one had come. Her head turned towards another direction when she realized that it was people talking. The young girl peeked over the fence and saw that Adeline had threw a large party. Her anger rose and she regretted wringing her neck. So she sat at the party table, alone. And she ate her birthday cake, and she opened her one present, alone. But she remembered what her mother had said to her. She knew she was loved. Her parents were just enough. She opened her one present from her parents.
"It's gorgeous! Oh, thank you!" She rushed over and embraced both of her parents. Since there really was nothing going on in the backyard, she decided to take a walk. Now I bet you're wondering what she got right? Well, she was given a necklace. Her mother's shadow on one, her father on the other, and her own silhouette in the middle. Victoria stared at the necklace and soon bumped into none other than Adeline.
"Wow! Look at you!"
"Don't even. I know you don't care."
"Oh, I do! Enough to tell you that that color does not look good on you!" The tearing of her dress began and soon enough, the only thing that was salvaged was her necklace. Nightfall soon struck and Victoria could not handle it. She ran to the city hall and climbed to the very top.
"For 18 years, I have dealt with this nonsense. No more."
Soon enough, the whole town watched as she slowly threw herself off the building.
And that is how our story begins. That is how my curse all began.
