Part 10~ Ghouls don't dance.

Amaya's pov.

Aido had tried asking me a few times what happened the night I went to Tokyo with him. That was three days ago and I was waiting for Uta to call me and tell me when I was meeting with him. I was now avoiding Aido and had hardly eaten since I found out about the fight. "Amaya are you alright?" Yuki asks as she looks over at me. It was lunch time and I had somehow found myself sitting with Zero and Yuki for lunch, not like I was eating anything. I did have another big cup of coffee and had been lost in thought. "I'm not sure yet." I mumble before taking a drink of my coffee. "You look like something is on your mind." Zero says in a bored tone as he eats. True something was on my mind, that it was driving me crazy and I was starting to regret coming to class or school in general after what happened. I had been thinking about heading out to an old building where every one would be safe from my actions should I lose control of myself. I had been thinking about telling Zero and Yuki the truth, that I was a ghoul but decided against it after the reaction they had when the fucking doves had been here. "Amaya your going to brake your cup." Yuki says making me glance down at the mug in my hand that looked like it might shatter soon. It was a cheep mug that the head master had given me a hand full of days ago. "Shit." I mumble letting my hand relax a little, not that I cared if the cup broke or not. "Tell us what is on your mind?" Yuki says making me huff a little. "My....." I mumble but before I could get to far in what I was saying I snap my mouth shut seeing Uta walking this way. The headmaster as well as Kaname were with him. I drop my mug and run over to the man who was my older brother and throw my arms around his neck the moment I was close to him.

"Uta!!!" I yelp happily making him chuckle a little and pat my head. His eyes were covered with sunglasses meaning his kakugan was still active and I longed to let my eyes match his after every thing that has happened. "Amaya it's good to see you again." Uta says as he rubs my back gently as he hugs me back just as hard as I was hugging him. "Who in the hell is that?" Zero whispers behind me but I just hold Uta tighter. "No idea, he is a little scary looking with all those tattoos." Yuki mumbles. I let Uta go before looking up at him. "Amaya you know him?" The headmaster asks as he motions over to Uta, I noticed Kaname glancing over Uta and taking a deep breath. "Uta is the man who saved me from Jason. He is like my older brother." I say making Uta chuckle a little before he pulls his glasses down a little to look into my eyes. It was just enough for Kisame and the headmaster to see his eyes. "He's your older brother then?" Yuki asks in a dumb tone making me roll my eyes. "Yeah." Uta says before he places his hand on my shoulder making me look into his eyes. It was a look that told me something bad happened. He didn't even have to say it to let me know what we lost.

"He's dead?" I ask making Uta give a small sigh before nodding his head. I feel my heart clench painfully and I couldn't control my kakugan as my eyes changed, tears falling down my face and I hide my face in Uta's chest letting him pat my back gently once again. "Your the headmaster right? I just came to inform Amaya that her guardian was killed and I will be taking over as her legal guardian. My name is Uta." Uta says as he keeps patting my back trying to stop my silent tears that are falling faster. I didn't make a sound as I cried just like normal. Yoshimura was like a father to me and now he was dead. I knew Uta would take care of me the best he could and I could come to him with just about any problems I had. "Yoshimura is dead?" The headmaster says in shock and I could hear a gasp from Yuki and Zero. "Yes there was an incident at his shop a few days ago. The CCG attacked and he was killed by a ghoul." Uta says patting my head and I hold him tighter making him sigh softly. "Amaya if you keep squeezing me like this you might hurt me." Uta grumbles as he pats the top of my head making me growl lowly at him. He knew he was the only person I trusted with my life, that would know everything about me no matter what now that Yoshimura was gone.

"Amaya perhaps you should spend the rest of the day with Aido." Kaname says making Uta stiffen and his hold got a little tighter on me. "Who is Aido?" Uta asks in a protective brotherly tone. "Aido is part of the night class and he is friends with Amaya." Yuki says. "He acts more like her boyfriend." Zero says and this time Uta pulls me back so he could look down at me his glasses were now off showing off his ghoul eyes. "Uta your going to leave Aido alone." I say and he nods his head a few times. "Fine I guess I can but only if your just friends." Uta says as he looks me over and I take a deep breath. If I tell Uta that Aido was my boyfriend he might try eating him and that would be a problem because I really loved Aido. "Well Uta we are friends, close friends." I say as I take Uta's hand making him frown a little and he places his glasses on my face covering my eyes. I noticed that Yuki and Zero flinch away from Uta because of his eyes. Kaname narrows his eyes a little at Uta who glances over at him and the headmaster understanding that they knew the truth about us as ghouls. "How close a friends are you?" Uta asks as we walk, he was leading me closer to the moon dorm without knowing it. "We're kinda dating close." I mumble so Zero and Yuki wouldn't hear and Uta stiffens before looking down at me. "Is he that blond with the blue eyes that came to get you that one time I came to see you? He looked nice but if he hurts you I will eat him." Uta says making the headmaster and Kaname stiffen. Yuki and Zero look grossed out and worried about what Uta said. "UTA!" I yelp making him chuckle a little before patting the top of my head. "Relax a little Amaya, you've been gone for so long a little ghoul joke isn't that bad a thing." Uta laughs making me roll my eyes at him not like he could tell.
