Sleepover

After we all got out of the pool we head back in for lunch. "What do you guys want to eat?" Natalie says looking in her refrigerator for something we all can eat. "Umm...I don't know. Pick something." I say as I head up stairs to grab our phones. I see her pull out lasagna as I walk downstairs. I hate lasagna I hope she has something else. I see something on the stove as I put our phones on the counter and I look in the pot and it macaroni and cheese. I smile at Natalie as she stirs the mac and cheese. I go back over to the phones and see that Natalie got a text from Mackenzie, her next door neighbor.

Mack: Hey can I come over and hang out? Pls...I'm bored!
"Hey Natalie! Mackenzie sent you a text message." I show her and she reads it. "Tell her that she can come over even for a sleep over the more the merrier!" I nod smiling.
Natalie: Hey it's Lily, she said sure and that you should stay for the sleepover the more the merrier. Don't forget a swim suit and your skateboard!"
I can't wait to see Mackenzie.
Mack: Ok, see you soon!

Natalie gets out 2 plates and 2 bowls and 4 forks. She puts lasagna on the plates for her and Andrew and put M&C in the bowls for me and Mackenzie. I get cups for all of us and fill them with water. Then there is a knock on the door and I run to get it. I open the door and hug Mackenzie as she steps inside. We walk into the kitchen and she puts her stuff beside the table and sit down next to me. "I hope you don't mind mac and cheese." I say as she looks at the food. "No, it's fine I'm starving!" She says looking really happy to be with us.

"Are you guys ready for school?" Mackenzie says as we start eating. "Um...yeah I guess." I says as I take another bits of my food. I look across to see Natalie and Andrew holding hands. I smile and sigh making them look at me. "You guys are so cute together." Natalie blushes at what I said and Andrew just looks down, probably blushing too. Mackenzie giggles and we start eating again. "Can we finish eating and go swim, it's getting hot in here." Natalie says with her cheeks still red. "Yeah sure!" I say laughing. We finished our food and Natalie and Andrew head out and I follow Mackenzie up stairs. We put done her stuff and she gets out her bikini out and puts it on. We jogged downstairs to see Natalie and Andrew making out. Mackenzie and I tip toe over to the pool. I count to 3 on my fingers 1...2...3 and we jump in the pool splashing them both. We come up for air and start laughing but they jump in after us and make a big splash. We all start laughing.

We are all on the couch watch tv and Andrew looks at his phone and gasps. We all look at him. "I was supposed to be home 6 min ago to get my car and pick up my brother from soccer, I got to go!" He says jumping up. We say goodbye and he almost shuts the door but yells "See you guys at school tomorrow!" He shuts the door and Natalie turns off the tv and we go upstairs.

We are all sitting on the floor just on our phones and Mackenzie speaks up. "I heard we were getting a lot of seniors this year and a lot of the boys are hot!" I start laughing and Natalie looks annoyed. "Why would I care I have a boyfriend, unlike you guys." The last part she whispered but we still heard her and we both slapped her shoulders because of that. She just looks back at her phone. "Hey Natalie, can I take a shower at 5:30 tomorrow morning?" I ask because I need one in the mornings to wake me up. "Yeah sure, you can be my alarm clock." She said and we all laughed. "Can I go ahead and take a shower now?" Mackenzie asked after we stopped laughing. "Yeah, go ahead."  Natalie says as Mackenzie gets her stuff and walks into the bathroom. I look at Natalie and she's staring at me. "Are you going to actually get a boyfriend this year? Ever since you broke up with Cole, cause he cheated on you, you rejected every boy that's asked." I look down remembering what I did after the break up just made it worse. "I don't know...I don't even know if I've moved on...I don't know if I'll love anyone else like I truly loved him!" I start to tear up as I stare into her eyes. "I understand... I just wish you would try to move on and be happy again." Natalie says looking concerned. I look into her eyes and give her a tight smile and she returns it. We go back to silence and Natalie gets a text I look over at her phone.

Andrew: Good night gorgeous 😘
I smile instantly at her big grin.
Natalie: Good night handsome 😘
They are so perfect for each other.

Mackenzie pops out of the bathroom in her pjs and walks towards us drying her hair with a towel. "What's up!" She says sitting down beside us. "Nothing just Natalie and Andrew said good night to each other." I say pointing to Natalie causing her cheeks to turn pink. "Awe...cute!" Mackenzie said grinning. "I feel like we should make a fort...who's with me?" I say standing up. "Yeah!" Mackenzie says standing up with me. "Let's do this thing!" Natalie says jumping up excitedly. We all rush around the house getting chairs, blankets, and pillows.

We all meet back in her room with ever thing in piles. We start making fort and when we are almost finished I get an idea. "Hey! Hold on... I have an idea. I'll be back!" I say as I dart down stairs to there activity room and see the fluffy white bean bag. I grab it and run back upstairs. I plop it on the ground in front of them and look at them slightly panting. "Good idea." Natalie and Mackenzie say at the same time. I giggle as they look at each other awkwardly. I push it into the fort and sit on it while Natalie and Mackenzie crawl in after me.

I pull out my computer and put my phone away. I plug in my headphones and put them in my ears. I go on YouTube and catch up on Roman Atwood's Vlogs then turn off my computer and take out my head phones to see my friends in there pjs. I get out and go over to my bag and pull out my own and then change. As soon as I put my other clothes and my dry swim suit in my bag there's a knock on the door. I walk over and open it to see a smiling Mrs. Jennifer, Natalie's mom, and I step back and let her in returning the kind smile. I notice Natalie and Mackenzie walking towards us. "I just wanted to check on you guys, are you all good?" Mrs. Jennifer says then looks over at our fort   "Yeah, we're great!" Mackenzie says which catches her attention again. "I love your fort you guys!" She says complementing our fort. "Thanks!" We all say in unison and start laughing. "Sleep tight girls, I'll be down the hall if you need me." Her mom say as she walks out and down the hall. We all go back in the fort and I plug up my phone and computer and lay down. Natalie and Mackenzie get comfy on their stack of blankets and pillows. I get comfy on the bean bag and pull my blanket over me. I fell asleep soon after.
