Hands in my pockets, hair in my face, eyes blurred by tears. My muddy converse dragged along the ground. Why did I have to be so difficult? Why was I such a baby? Why was I crying because of nothing? These questions swirled in my mind as I stumbled through the cemetery. People called me "goth" and "witch" because I came here, but I didn't really care. As long as they stayed away. This would always be my chosen place to go when I couldn't hold the tears in...when I needed a place to relax...
I pulled out my earbuds as I crouched on the muddy autumn ground. Fall was my favourite time of year, when the beautiful firey leaves would parachute down from their space above the world. There was a sadness to it as well though. Imagine being one of those leaves, green and healthy, with such a beautiful view below you, then over the year getting frailer and frailer, until one day you fall, down, down, down, to get swept up and forgotten. In a strange way humans weren't so different.
My tears drying up, I stood up. My immortal had come up on my playlist. It probably wasn't a good choice for cheering me up..... But oh well.
