So it's been about 2 weeks since Joe moved into my neighbourhood, and mum finally let me go over for a sleepover. I was nervous as hell.
I packed my hot black pyjamas, my toothbrush, hairbrush.... Basically essentials. And did I mention I was nervous as hell.

My phone vibrated and I almost jumped out of my skin. This is what I saw:
Joe:Come over when you're ready =)

I grabbed my bag and sprinted down the stairs, almost breaking my skull open in the process. Luckily my mum wasn't there to embarrass me horribly, so I left her a note:

I'm at Joe's, love you, goodnight.

I stood in front of the door, my heart in my throat . It's not a date it's not a date it's not a date calm down calm down.
Finally I knocked and the door opened at once. Joe was grinning at me, and my heart sort of melted.
"You took so long I thought of going to your house to check you were alive".
I immediately broke into a grin of my own and we went indoors.

I met the family, and I think they liked me, we messed around in the garden. They have a treehouse!
We watched the movie "Avatar". We both cried at the end, although I found it hard to concentrate as I was curled up in the crook of Joe's arm during the movie. I could smell jasmine shampoo.

Then it was time for bed. We brushed our teeth and went upstairs to Joe's room. There was a huge bed in the corner.
"We can share, if you don't mind", Joe said.
"I don't mind, don't worry", I squeaked.
We got in, and silence fell. I could tell Joe wasn't asleep. Suddenly I felt a hand under the duvet take my own. I froze. I looked over. Joe's piercing brown eyes were looking back at me. I squeezed the hand, and I felt a pressure back. I felt like a warm trickle of something had gone down my back.
And so, in the me fashion, I said exactly what I was going to do and then I did it.
"I am going to kiss you", I said.
I saw Joe smile, which I hoped was a yes, and then I leaned into those beautiful thin lips.
It was just a quick peck, but it felt like an eternity. Seeing a smile on Joe's face, I curled into a pair of arms, welcoming me home.
Just before we fell asleep, I asked this question:
"Joe? What's your full name?"
An uncertain smile appeared on Joe's face.
"Josephine. But if you call me that I'll kill you. "
