The Last One

Prologue

My name is Lilly. Though my real name is Isabella, but my family used to called me Lilly when they were around. I am a teenage spy. I'm the last one left. I have been the last one for roughly 4 years. But it wasn't always this way.

I don't like what this society has become. It's a dreaded wasteland, in which I call home. Though I spend most of my time hiding in the shadows. From them. They took everything from me. Everyone and everything I love. My home and anyone I called family. It's all gone. My mother, my father, and my brother. They are all dead. I will seek vengeance on them one day. Those who killed them. Those are bad people. They straight up murdered them. But before my mom took her last breath her last words to me were: "You know what to do. Trust no one, stay safe, and never forget us." Though I didn't do so well on my own at first, I survived. But you may not think that that's even possible for a 13 year old to do on their own. But I did. I did it all on my own and now I'm safe, I guess. Oh how I miss everyone. Especially my older brother.

His name was Mack, and he was my twin. He was older than me but only a few minutes. It's hurts to think that a part of me is missing and gone forever. I'll never see him again. All that had happened that day was all a big accident. And it's all my fault. It was supposed to be me. I am the one who should've died that day. Not him, he didn't deserve it. He took a bullet for me, and he saved me. Mack put himself in harm's way to save my life, by sacrificing his own life so I could live. And it's hard for me to believe that. Though I know it's true. It's just very troublesome for me to let go of my past. I just can't let him go. And so that's where I am now. Four years into the future and I'm doing missions and things. Can you guess how old I am now? Easy just do the math. I'm 17 years old now.
