"Heaven wake up dear." mom shakes me a little me
"I'm up." I say
I never gave my mother trouble. I never saw the point. What I did to her I'd only receive one day... Someday.
I got in the shower for a short period of time then got out and dressed. Chaco sandals, jeans.
I put on a black T that read "Blah!" . I curled my hair. Grabbing my keys and purse and phone I headed down stairs.
"I'll be back later mom." I say, hugging her
"Have a good day at school honey." Mom says
"Bye dad love you." I say
"Love you honey bun." He says
Gosh! i hated that nickname, but I never mentioned it. Didn't have it in my heart to tell my dad to stop being his sweet self.
You could say I'm the quiet, good in school and mind my own business type.
My iPhone buzzed and My friend Sam texted me Good morning. I hang out with her but don't really actually care for her. We're cousins really. I'm nice to Sam because of our parents, but Sam is a real.. well she's something annoying. There no way anyone can keep a secret around her.
"Good morning." I text back

So this is my junior year and I'm dying to graduate. Junior year is the hardest year in school. It takes some much dedication and time and time and time.
I'm Heavenly... No really that's my name. But everyone calls me Heaven. I parked my car in my normal spot. I decided to carry my umbrella, because of the rain clouds. I walked in quietly with my head down as usual. I don't really care for meeting eyes with anyone. That would mean I want to take and honestly I like to be left alone.
Mr. D Hart, the principal, held the door open for me.
"Good morning Ms. Clearwater." He says with a typical I'm-Your-Boss smile.
"Good morning Mr. D hart." I say
He nodded to me.
I have that soft, soft soothing kinda voice. I don't speak loud and I don't tend to. I despise of loud people and ignore them. Like the loud crowds of football players that are so deeply consumed in football season fever. I walked passed the ordinary group of gossiping cheerleaders. A girl almost bumped into me.
"Excuse me." I said and move passed her
Though, I doubt she heard me.
There was some guys standing in front of my locker.
Football and soccer guys. Guess you could say the "big shots."
Anywho I stood waiting for them to move patiently.
"Oh sorry Heaven." Trent says and moved out of my way.
"Your okay." I mutter.
I put in my combination, got all my needed supplies for the day, and walk on.
"Good morning Heaven." Sam says running up to me
"Hey Sam, and good morning." I say
"What's the matter?" Sam asks
"I didn't sleep well last night." I yawn
"You have the biggest pretty eyes I've ever seen." She says and pinched my cheeks.
"Thanks." I run my cheek.
"So today we're having a pep rally! Yay fun huh?" She says
"Yeahhh." I say bored
"Come on Heaven, what's eating at you like this everyday?" She asks
"Boredom and lack of sleep." I said
But that wasn't it...
You see, everyone knows I'm Heavenly. But no one knows the things I see with these eyes aren't so heavenly. I see the dead. I see the future and the last of people and I since danger. And... Smell it. That is, when it's near.
The bell rung to go to class and off Sam and I went. She has every period with me and sits by me in every class. I have math first. I sat in the front. The teacher never call on me or Sam because he just knows we already know. And the time he does we're always correct.
"M + X= b squared--" mr. Barnes went on.
I sat dazed in my thoughts, tapping my thumb with my pencil.
Class was over and I went back to my locker to put away my book.
"Did we have homework tonight?" I ask Sam
"Nope. Which is weird." She says making a face.
"For real." I say agreeing
He always gives us homework....
They day dragged on lousy full of pep rally's, football players ramming each other with hugs and the ending bell that so blessedly allowing everyone to go home.
