"I don't know mom." Someone said
I rubbed my lids and tried to open my eyes.
It was hard at first. Something was wrapped around my face. White. Bandages.
I tried to scream but it was muffled.
"I'm coming Heaven!" A male voice said
"BE CAREFUL Matthew!" A female said
Matthew?
Suddenly the bandages were being removed and I held my lips. And then opened my eyes.
They burned and my head felt lost better but still ached a bit.
"Greyson?" I said
"Yeah it's me baby girl." He said smiling happy.
"Hello heaven, how are you feeling?" His mother asks
"I feel better but my head- ouch Greyson!" I say after he poked my head
His mom slapped him a good one and he held his cheek right.
"Ow mommy!" He said whining
"Now you be careful to the Luna Matthew!" She said
Did she just say Luna? Does she know?
And why is she calling him Matthew ?
"Matthew?" I say
"My middle name." He says
"Does she know--" I didn't finish
"She knows. My dad too." He says smiling.
"Oh how wonderful." I say feeling dizzy
"Luna you need to lie back down. Your not fully recovered." She says protective
"I need to-- gosh-- get preparations-- ready-" I said in pauses from my head throbbing
"We will handle it." She says
"Tell us what needs to be done." Greyson says
"I gotta set up something special in my house for my parents. I told them I was. I don't wanna be a liar. There on vacation for a few months. But still. It's gotta be special." I say letting my feet dangle off the bed
"Luna please rest." She says
"I can't sleep. I'll just go get my perception for my Hydro tens. And as long as I'm up to hour with them I'll be perfectly fine. And not driving." I say
"It is a narcotic." She says
"Yes I know. My Saint judges dr gets them ready for me." I say
Her eyes suddenly look saddened.
"You have.. Cancer?" She asks her eyes go black along with Greyson's
"It's suppose to be cured. I'm fine for now it's just-- we are keeping an eye open so I go in for a check up every four weeks." I say" I don't have the tube anymore so I'm better now." I say
"Tube?" She asked question fully
"The thing the stuck in my chest to feed me." I say
She turned away wishing she hadn't asked.
Greyson looks angry but sad At the same time.
"Can I get you anything dear?"she asked
"Breakfast mom. She's going through a phase because of the vampires so no meat." He says nodding kindly
"Oh alright. I'll be back soon." She says an leaves us alone.
He pulls me into this arm and holds me tight. Nuzzling his nose in my shoulder.
Sniffling me.
"Why didn't you tell me you had cancer ?" He asks looking dead in my eyes.
"Everyone knows. That's white very ones so nice to me." I say
He starts to whimper and I feel his wolfs presence.
"Is it-- deadly?" His voice was suddenly deeper
Must be Ryder.
I turn to look up in his eyes and it was Ryder.
"Yes. It is." I say casual." Doesn't mean anything." I say shrugging
"Yes it does!" He booms looking at he ceiling
I take his arms off of me and stumble to the side of the bed putting all the pillows on my head and scream.
He hurt my darn head!
I feel him again.
He gentle comes behind me and holds me while rubbing my shoulder, it was soothing.
"I'm sorry." He said the voice was of his wolf Ryder again
"You hurt my head Ryder!" I hissed
"I'm so so so so so sorry Luna." He says nuzzling his nose in my hair." I'm sorry." He says once more
"It's no big deal. Just shut up Ryder. My head is throbbing." I say annoyed" I gotta go." I say
"No! My mom is gonna get your medicine while she's out. She'll be back in just a minute." He says
I nod and lay my head down again.
"I love you Heavenly." He said moving my long hair
I simply kept my eyes shut and my lips glued.
"You don't haft to say it till your ready. I won't make you. But I just want you to know that I love you. My heart accelerates when I think of you. I can't be without you." He says
I nod.
Surprisingly I didn't hurt over Xavier and my lost relationship because it wasn't a relationship to begin with.
"Heavenly, I have a question." He says
I nod.
"When your ready will you be my girlfriend ?" He asks.
I should have known that was the question.
"Or can you just be my girlfriend now and I promise To take things slow. I literally swear I'll take things slow." He said
Well... I do feel sorta attached to Greyson.
"Greyson.." I said my thoughts pending
"Please." He said and slid off the bed getting on his knees." I swear to be all that you could ask for. I pledge my life to you Heavenly Clearwater" he says
"Aww." I hear his mother say
I blush.
Then nod.
"Is that yes?!?!?!?!" He asks
I nod and cover my face.
He jumps up and runs all over the room cheering "I did it! I did it!"
Haha.
"Someday you'll be Mrs. McKnight." Greyson mutters as he gives me my food.
"Hhmp." I say loud.
I ate and I felt better.
