Chapter 16

Julia

Connor stuck next to me the whole time. I was thankful I couldn't take the girls giving deathly stares.

My heart cracked when I saw Pierson and Nathan I had no idea why they would do this.

"Hey, I'm having a Party this week, can you come?" asks Sophie.

"Um I don't know." I say quietly.

"Come on you got to loosen up a bit!"

I bit my lip, "I dont know."

"Well If you are text me, because I'm going to take you and Jade shopping."

"What about Emily. "

"I already asked she has a date with Luke."

I smiled.

"They are so cute together!" She gushed.

The bell finally rang. School was over.

"See ya." Says Sophie as she Saunters away.

Connor jogs up to me.

"Hey Um Julia? "

"Yeah?"

"I know a lot on your mind want to talk about it?"

I bite my lip.

"Sure."

Me and Connor sat at Panera waiting.

I sighed, "I don't know why Pierson is acting like this." I told Connor everything.

"What about Nathan?"

"I honestly I understand why he's mad. but he doesn't have to be a totally Jerk."

"You know Pierson went looking for you guys, after he came back he like shut down."

"What? why?"

Connor lowers his voice, "I have a feeling he saw you guys kissing."

"Wh-What!"

"Its a guess.."

"I think your right."

"You need to let them go." He shrugs, "If they act like this."

I nod slowly, "Your right."

Our waitress came by. She batted her eyelashes at Connor.

She shoved my cookie but slowly set Connor's cookie.

She was doing everything she could to get his attention. Pathetic.

I glare at her.

She smiles at me smugly.

She then stood there and waited.

"Can we eat in peace? " asks Connor.

"Oh uh yeah!" She stutters.

I giggle, she send me a glare and Sashays away

I glance at Connor, his eyes twinkle with mischief yet there's sadness.
