Grays POV:

"ERZA, LUCY! I think I found a job!" I yelled to my team mates.
"Stop looking for jobs! We need to find Natsu!" Erza yelled back. I run up to her, flyer in hand and explain my reasons.
"I know I found a job that might help us." She looked confuse, Lucy-who was beside Erza- looked confused too.
I sighed and began too explain again. "This job wants us to protect a man from a pink headed male assassin. The assassins code name- or nickname whatever- is 'Death Fire'. The assassin tried once and failed, the man thinks he'll try again.
What I'm saying is that, the description of the guy sounds a lot like Natsu, and the nickname has something to do with fire. I know Natsu would never kill, but.... It's worth a shot!"

They looked at me, then looked at each other, then the floor. They looked like they were thinking, thinking it through, thinking about Natsu, thinking about what had happened to him.

I bet your confused, huh?
Well let me explain... Fairytail kicked Natsu out.
Why?
We falsely excused him for destroying, burning and burtaly killing innocent towns people.
Most of us belived the bloody, battered, and burned "witness" and "survivor" of one of Natsu's supposed "massacres".
What a load of shit!
I didn't believe that man for a second! But... The rest did.
They were pissed, they beat Natsu up and made him erase the guild mark, they then threw Natsu out of the guild.
I tried to get everyone to stop, too get them to believe that Natsu had done nothing of that matter, but they wouldn't believe me or him.
The "witness" had three pictures of Natsu doing it, but pictures can be altered and faked!
That man came in a day when gramps was out of town, But when gramps got back he was pissed to find out what had happened, he exploded on the guild, they all feel guilty for treating Natsu like like that, for blaming him for something he didn't do.
Later we found out that, that "witness" was a fake, he altered the pictures and faked his look.
He did that because he held a grudge against Natsu, I bet there was more to the story then that.
We tried finding Natsu, but we found no trace of him, we found that he went to his house and packed a few things, but other then that we found no trace of him at all! That was all two years ago now. The guild stopped looking, the only ones that still believe we can find him are, team Natsu, levy, gajeel, Wendy, Guildarts, and master. They rest believe that Natsu won't come back, that he hates us all, and that he doesn't want to be found, so they stopped trying to find him.
To be honest I miss him a lot, the guild isn't the same with out him!
We've all changed a bit, in my case I've become nicer, quieter, and more caring, it's kinda weird looking at me now and looking at the old me. But what's changed has changed and you can't turn back.

Anyway, Erza Looked back up to me, her face hard with determination.
"Let's take it! It might not be him but we can always try!" She boasted.
"Yeah!" Lucy agreed, her fist flew up and then down and lock that way, "It's worth a shot!"
"Okay! I'll go tell Mira about the job, you two go get packed. The job is a 6 hour ride there, it will take about a week or two, and then a 8 hour ride back." Erza informed. Me and Lucy agreed and we left the guild to pack.
But before I left I went to find happy, he's been living with Wendy and Carla ever since Natsu left, he's not the same happy cat he used to be. He's not a gloomy patuny either though, he's just quieter now.
I finally found him sitting with Carla at a table in the corner, eating fish thankfully.

"Hey happy we might have a lead on Natsu. You want to come with us?" I asked
"....... No... I'm fine. But if you do find Natsu please bring him back!" He pleaded.
"Will do buddy."
And with that I left for my apartment.

We all meet up at the train station after we packed.
