Chapter 2:

AHLIYAH

I stood there looking out the window, while i shook. It was so damn cold outside right now and all I had on was a skirt, a lollipop and a lil ass cheerleading shirt that had my stomach and and everything exposed to the cold wind. "Here." he said as we stopped at the red light taking his jacket off and giving it to me. "Thankyou." I said. "Where you live at?" he said. "Um, I'm not sure that I should give you my address." I said seriously. He started laughing "Ma, ain't nobody going to hurt yo lil ass. I'm just trying to help yo ass out." he said. That made me kind of mad "I'm not little, I'm 17!" I snapped. "Yeah, ok." he said. "You don't believe me?" I said. "I really don't care." he said. "Whatever." I said. "So again where do you live? I don't have time to be driving all around town, I got shit to do." he said. That instantly made me mad. "Pull this shit over," I said. He laughed "Okay." he said pulling over. I didn't know where we was at but I would find my way some where and call my brother to come and get me i dont need him to take me no where. I got out the car and he pulled off. I was so fucking cold, mad and scared it was dark as hell out here and they barely had any lights. I was walking for about 5 minutes, when a car slowly pulled up beside me I was walking past a ghetto apartment complex and it was alot of guys standing outside looking at me.

I kept telling myself don't look over there, don't look over there and the person in the car finally rolled the window down. "Ma, get in the car." he said. I turned over to see the stranger. I rolled my eyes, "No, I'm fine don't you have better things to do than to mess with a little girl?" I said. He laughed again "Aw, you still mad about that come on get in." he said. "I said no, now good day sir." I said. He pulled over and got out of the car and came over to where I was standing I was scared for a second he was so close to me it look like we were about to kiss. "Would you rather them men over there to come over here and take yo ass, or would you rather a nice gentlemen take you home safe and sound." he said looking at his watch. "Plus, it's a little pass your bed time." he said cracking up. "Fine." I said getting in the car. "Where to?" he said. "My address 5908 Three Chopt Rd." I said. "Wowwwww, you live in that neighborhood, your family must have money." he said. "We do ok." I said. "Ain't no y'all do okay, that house is probably worth at least two million dollars, and to live in that neighborhood you have to have gwap." he said. "Hmm, I might can hold you for ransom." he said looking dead ass.

I got scared again and he could see it. Then he started laughing again. I didn't care for his humor. "Just take me home." I said. "Right away, ma'am." It took about 30 minutes for him to get me back to my house my parents cars was already here. I opened the door and he pressed the lock on it. "No thankyou?" he said. "Thankyou, now unlock the door." I said, "What's you name?" he asked. "Ahliyah." I said. He unlocked the door, then locked it back. "What are you doing?" I asked. "You didn't ask for my name," he said. "What is your name?" I asked irritated. "Davon, but everybody call me K." he said. I started laughing so hard. "How in the hell did you get K from davon?" I asked. He unlocked the door "get your ass out." he said I kept laughing as I got out the car. I guess he didn't find that to be funny. "Bye K." I said dying laughing again. He just hurried up and drove off. I continued laughing as I walked to my front door knocking on it, I realized I still had on his jacket damn my parents was going to have some questions. 

Loreal 

I was so worried about my baby, DeMarcus and DJ went out looking for her while they told me to stay here in case she showed up. I swear I wished somebody would've stayed here with me Ahmia ass always gone over her lil bestfriend house. It's like sometimes she don't even want to be around her own damn family. But DeMarcus tells me that it is just  a phase, so i just shrugged it off but I don't know how much shrugging that I can do. I heard a knock on the door. Lord please don't let that be the police telling me that they found my baby body some where. I opened the door and saw Ahliyah standing there laughing with a gray sweat jacket over her cheer outfit. "Ahliyah!" I yelled embracing my daughter as I pulled her inside of the house. "What happened to you are you okay?" I said. "Yes momma I'm ok, what is wrong?" she said. "I thought that something had happened to you, they started shooting and I thought something happened to you, how did you get home what happend?" I asked. "Well, when they started shooting, a friend brung me home, the police was blocking the entrance to go back into the school, I'm sorry I should've called." she said kissing my cheek walking upstairs to her room. I just called DeMarcus to let him know that she was hear safe & sound, damn she scared me for a moment.
