"I'm telling you Tamara was the girl August was telling me about." Emma told Mary-Margaret. I was sitting at the bar in the kitchen, eating my breakfast, bleary eyed.
"I told you she was shady." I said, my mouth full of cereal.
"Don't talk with you mouthful and Emma shhh." Mary-Margaret whisper-yelled.
"What?" Emma asked.
"Henry is upstairs." She paused." I know this has been hard for you."
"No this isn't about me, this is about August, he died trying to warn us about someone. She, Tamara, has a list of people who live here and what their fairy tale names are. Doesn't that worry you?"
"There could be a million explanations for what you saw." Mary-Margaret rebottled.
"I don't know anything about her, and when she said I could trust her, she lied." I lifted my head.
"Superpower?" I asked.
"Superpower." She nodded.
"But your superpower has been known to be unreliable Emma, especially when you're emotional."Snow said rubbing her arm. Emma threw her arms down in frustration.
"For the last time, I don't have feelings for Neal. That was a decade ago, I'm over it." I snorted. "Oh shut up you. I don't have feelings for Neal."
"Well that may be but if you tell Henry that you think his dad's fianceé is up to something, he may think that there's a chance his parents will get back together. So keep it to yourself, please, until you know something more." She pleaded as she left the loft. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw that Henry had come into the room.
"So we're back in business, I heard everything." Henry said. I let out a laugh.
"You can't keep secrets from this kid." I said. Emma looked at me.
"I thought you were in the shower." Emma said stuttering.
"Exactly, operation Cobra is back on, and we're investigating Tamara, right?"
"Get your coat." Emma said bluntly. "We'll meet up with you later, Charlotte." I put my bowl in the sink and went upstairs to get ready.
~
I had met up with Emma and Henry and we were currently breaking into Neal and Tamara's room.
"So once we prove that Tamara's evil, I guess the wedding is off." Henry said.
"Henry, Neal and I aren't getting back together, you know that, right?" Emma asked. I stood as lookout, staring down the hallway just in case they decided to return.
"But if he's single, romantic night, wine."
"I'm doing this to prove that Tamara is evil, not to get back with Neal." Emma told Henry, as he started to walk in the room.
"Hey Henry, it's your turn to be lookout." I said as I walked into the room, he grumbled but agreed.
"What do I do if they come? Whistle?" He asked.
"No you need to be less obvious, just kick the door, like you're bored or you fell on it." Emma told him.
"Got it, kick the door. Now go." We began searching the apartment for clues that Tamara was a secret evil being. I started in the closet looking at the luggage, when Emma stepped on a creaky plank of it.
"That's not right." I said. We were about to look at it further when we heard Henry kick the door. "Shit." I whispered.
"Emma." I heard Neal shout. He walked in, giving Emma a look that he knew what she was up to.
