The Crime of Jimmy Bones

     It was 2:00 in the morning. Anna and John Carter were peacefully sleeping in bed. Suddenly, a greatly feared serial killer, Jimmy Bones, sneaked past their security and into their room.

     In their bedroom closet, Jimmy hid a time bomb set for two minutes. Anna and John peacefully snored on, undisturbed. On his way out, Jimmy accidentally knocked something over. He quickly made his way out the window, but not before waking Anna up.

     She rubbed her eyes with sleep, and turned to check the time. Her clock read 2:05 A.M. Confused, she turned to fall back asleep, but heard a soft beeping coming from her closet. She quickly got up, a silky nightgown trailing behind her, and opened the door.

     She saw the time bomb, ticking away with only a minute left. Terrified, she rushed to wake John. He came to the closet and saw the bomb, beginning to panic.

     Scared for their lives, the couple snuggled together in their last moments. Anna admired John's strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes, while John stroked her golden curls. He gazed sadly into Anna's shocking blue eyes.

     When there was only a few seconds left, John suddenly embraced Anna in a long, deep kiss, pulling her into him. Anna kissed back, holding onto John as the last tick of the bomb went off. In a flash, everything was over.

     Jimmy was watching from outside, and even he had tears in his eyes. Guilty about what he'd done, he entered their room and glanced at the two. Both were smiling, and Anna had her head laying on Johns chest. Their fingers were intertwined.

     Jimmy was guilty and emotionally shattered from his actions, so he let his snake bite him and kill him. Jimmy's awful murdering may have ended that night, but so did the love of a beautiful couple.
