Caleb slid out of the bed and walked to the exit. He motioned with his hand to follow him. I half walked half ran beside him. He was my size, maybe a little bit smaller. I quickly noticed he was in shape, he had a six-pack and everything. He seemed to hid the inside of his wrists, which I found odd.

"So, what do you wanna eat? The rabbits are pretty great this year. Felix might let me "borrow" one of his deer. Rebel has a good storage of nuts, although he doesn't really share. Sky has an awesome collection of birds, but, we'd probably only get a crow or something." He said licking his lips. "I'll do whatever you can get your hands on." I replied, not wanting to be trouble. "Felix doesn't like visitors, and Rebels probably near Felix, so probably no nuts, or deer. Sky's probably flying right now. So rabbits it is!" He said smiling like crazy.

Caleb gracefully jumped through the exit. I was hesitant to go outside, I mean I wasn't scared of outside, just of how to get there. I stuck my head out to see how far the exit was from the ground. It was maybe six feet of the ground so I felt pretty confident about jumping. I decided to scoot out though, I didn't want to make a fool out of myself for my first impression. I actuality managed to land on my feet. I looked at Caleb who smiled warmly.

"Wanna get your shirt or something...?" He asked still nervous obviously. "Um, yeah!" I replied still stuttering like an idiot. "Kay! Follow me!" He said running of into the woods. I struggled to keep up with him. At some points I could only see the cuff of his jeans. When we finally stopped I was completely winded, and Caleb was completely fine. I'm really regretting skipping gym...

I looked around. A small stream ran beside the trees, and a small string hung from two trees, draped across it was my beat up old shirt. I walked to it an picked up my shirt. It was still a little damp, but better than nothing at all. I glanced over at Caleb, who was sitting at the bank of the river. He looked down at his bare feet before tucking his hands in his pocket. He sighed, before cuffing his pant leg up. He too, had a weird bracelet thing. He ran his fingers over the blinking red light. He clicked it in and his eyes widened suddenly. He stood up and sniffed the air. "Rabbit!" He yelled before running back into the woods.

"Caleb! Wait up!" I yelled between gasps for air. Wait, it's really cold out. Why isn't he wearing a shirt?! I stopped giving up on chasing after him. Maybe I could go and find someone to help me. I should get home soon. I looked around trying to find a landmark to remember. It's useless! Everything looks the same!

I rubbed my hands together, trying to keep some warmth. I suddenly regretted randomly wandering off. Its not my fault I'm curious! Don't blame me! I looked down at the frost covered ground. Should I try to find my way back? Maybe I should just stay here... I mean I have no sense of direction, I'd probably end up getting more lost. I decided to follow my instinct and stay put. I really wish the ground wasn't soaking wet! I would want to sit down... I opened my mouth to yell for Caleb, but quickly decided against it. If there's deer, there's probably things that eat deer, and I certainly didn't want to meet them.

I couldn't have been five minutes before I heard the loudest noise of my life. It sounded frustrated and in pain. Being the smart person I am, I decided to investigate. I ran to where I heard the noise, when I lost track of where it came from. I should've stayed where I was! I heard the sound again, this time closer. I sprinted to the noise, not wanting to lose track again. I stopped when I saw a clearing. I didn't want to fall in another deer trap. I peeked into the clearing. To my terror a large big cat stood in the middle. It had white fur with gray spots outlined in black doted all over its massive body. It's icy blue-gray eyes froze me in terror. The strange thing about this cat, is it had streaks of red almost everywhere. Even stranger, it had one of the flashing red dot collars around its neck.

I suddenly recognized it as a snowlepord. This is the wrong place for it to be though! They usually live in mountains! What's it doing here?
