Katherine POV 😉

To say our hotel room at Aria was amazing is an understatement. The penthouse might as well have been the queens hotel apartment that she books every now and then to have a boogie in.

Jack and I were seated in two arm rests that sat across from each other with a small coffee table in the middle which Jack had his feet propped up on.

Danny was looking out the window, which pretty much the penthouse was cover in shuffling a deck of cards.

In front of us, Merritt was laying down on the couch reading a book called the savage detectives by Roberto Bolano with his feet sticking up in the air.

Henley was upstairs packing our suitcases cause we couldn't be bothered.

We were waiting for the FBI to hurry up and get here before we could make our way to New Orleans for our next show.

I wore a white strapped top tucked into black jeans with brown heeled boots and a silver layered necklace. I had a blue blazer to go with it but it was currently draped across my bed upstairs. But now that I think about it it's kinda cold. Might as well go and get it I thought.

"Hey I'm just going to go get my jacket

"Hey I'm just going to go get my jacket." I said and pointed my thumb over to the stairs.

"Yeah sure." He replied smiling. God that smile kills ya sometimes.

I walked past Danny who looked up and eyed  my movements. I winked at him before continuing my way through the lounge room and too the stairs.

I quickly jogged up the stairs and walked into my bedroom. My suitcase was placed near the door thanks to Henley and the bed was neatly made with my jacket draped across the sheets.

I walked over to the bed and pick up my jacket and brushed it off a bit before walking out the bedroom and down the stairs. As I reached the bottom I was in the process of slipping my jacket on when the door in front of me suddenly banged open. About damn time I thought.

The FBI rushed in with guns held up high.

"FBI hands up." Their leader called out.

I rolled my eyes and shrugged on my jacket before putting my hands up.

"Hands up come on!" They yelled.

"Yeah my hands are up." I replied sarcastically.

"Uno minuto." Merritt replied not even glancing at them as he continued to read his book.

Jack looked annoyed and I don't blame him. Cops are kinda dumb especially if they think they can keep us behind bars. Despite his annoyance he complied and slowly raised his hands in the air.
