I did what I was told to do when they come, hide in the floor and cover my mouth to mute my breathing.

Foot steps hovered over me. From my view, I could see that the men had lab coats as white a snow. They were different from the men, who took my sister. They never gave her back. When they took her mother didn't cry neither did father. Maybe, they were too scared to cry. How could people do such things to the innocent? My family didn't do anything. We were just a normal family that had breakfast, lunch and dinner together; we were close. Overtime, we started to separated, go to a imaginary world to call our own.

Their foot steps were heavy seeming like they'll bust through the floor into the empty space where I was. Occasionally, they'd purposely stomp the floor like they knew I was there.

My parents patiently waited for them to leave. They don't seem scare I wonder why. Honestly, if the lab coat men were to take me, I don't think they would care. I mean why should they; all I am is waste of time. If I was found they'd wouldn't be brothering them anymore.

Why do they need teens my age? What are they going to do? My dad, a mailman, told my that they weren't using use for breeding purposes, but for "experiments". I thought it was weird because population in America isn't at its highest. There's only about 8,000 people left on earth all because of World War III.
