Warning! This has cussing!

Toast's POV~
I felt Ghost's grip loosen on me. I stopped walking and looked down, seeing his breathing steady and his eyes closed. I couldn't help but stare at his resting form in awe. The way he quietly mumbled, while sometimes tugging and letting go of my shirt.

"Soon, sir. Soon I will be with you." I moved the strand of hair out of his face, to which Ghost stirred slightly. I chuckled at his reaction. "Very soon."

I continued walking to where I had planned. It was a clearing in the middle of a forest. Since it was a full moon, it made the place have a silvery glow to it. Not to mention it was away from the city, allowing more stars to show. What better way to confess than in that kind of place?

Ghost began to move in my grasp. I twirled a strand of his hair, staring in awe at his face. I stopped when he shook his head faintly, signaling he was waking up.

"Hello, sir. I see you're awake," I stated.

"Well, I can't see anything," he answered back. I chuckled.

"Alright, just a minute. We're almost there," I confirmed.

Johnny reached a hand towards his face, but I slapped it away. He pouted, then crossed his arms in a childish way. "I said almost, sir," I reminded.

"I know," he sighed. "It's just... It feels weird, not seeing anything." I caught the lie in his voice. What was the real reason?

"Well, we're here," I announced. I pulled off Ghost's blindfold in a swift motion, and put him back on the ground.

"Wow..." Ghost breathed out. "This is amazing. But... why are we here?"

"Oh, it's just a place that I go to time to time," I lied again. How much more do I have to lie? That's when I couldn't take it anymore.

"Toast, is something wrong?" Johnny asked. I stared at his brown, sparking orbs.

"Sit down with me," I sighed. "I need to tell you something."

Ghost's POV~
Curious. Curious and scared. That's what I was. What does he need to say? Did he not want to be my friend anymore? Oh god. Oh shit. What do I do?

"U-um okay," I squeaked out. I sat in the soft grass, the green blades tickling my skin. It felt nice.

I yelped when Toast grabbed my hand, holding it firmly. I stared at him worriedly, but he was looking down. He sighed, then finally looked at me.

"I talked to Jimmy."

I felt my heart shatter to pieces. My face quivered in horror. Jimmy knows everything about me. What if he gave something away?

"Let me explain, Ghost," Johnny complied. I nodded my head nervously.

"Okay," I whispered.

"Jimmy... told me something that I was blind to. And I'm sorry for that." He tilted my head to where I looked straight at him. His eyes were filled with sorrow and plead. "He told me that you love me."

All I could do was stare. No... no, it can't be. It can't be true.

I'm afraid it is, Ghostie. Sorry.

I trusted you!

I told the dumb-ass not to tell you!

"Sir?"

I shot my head up. I was positive my face had fear written all over it. I scooted away slowly, my eyes threatening to water.

"I-I'm sorry," I chocked out. Toast reached out his hand worriedly.

"What are you sorry for?" he asked. A single tear fell from my face.

"For falling in love with you. I understand if you don't feel the same..." I mumbled.

"Johnny, come here," Toast demanded. I hesitantly went back to the spot I was sitting at. Toast grabbed my arm tightly to where I couldn't scramble away. My eyes flicked from my arm to his face. My heart raced from fear and wonder. I tried to back away, but it was no use.

"Johnny Ghost, don't be afraid. For I have fell for you as well."

That's when I saw it. That one emotion that I didn't know what it was. It was love. That's what I saw in his eyes. I finally understood.

Before I could process anything, Toast cupped the side of my face with one hand, and his other was on the back of my hand. And then he... he kissed me.

That one action was filled with so much emotion. My mind saw sparks and glows. Without thinking, I began to kiss back, putting passion into it.

Johnny's hands moved to my waist, while I twined my fingers in his hair. Tears kept rolling down my face. Everything that I had held back for so long was finally out. I didn't have to hide anymore.

We pulled away, a trail of saliva connecting us. My breathing was all messed up, the only way I could get air was to pant. I couldn't help but be star-crossed.

"So you believe now?" Toast questioned. I nodded my head slowly, not daring to look away.

"Johnny?" I said. He hummed in response. "I... I love you." Toast giggled at my nervous nature.

"I love you too, my paranormal partner."

I did it! Yes! So I have two questions. The first is should I keep going? If so, what should happen next? Also, do you know that feeling when your stomach feels kinda fluttery? If so, did you have that feeling when you read it? Let me know! :3
