The searchers

As soon as I saw it coming I knew it had to be a dream things like this just don't happen in the real world. I'm right now standing in the top of a mountain seeing 6 beings in the form of beasts getting closer to me. One was white and it had the form of an eagle, one was red and it had the form of a lion, one was blue and it had the form of a dolphin, one was black and had the form of a human, one was brown and had the form of an elephant and there was a yellow one that its form wasn't a beast just an orb colored yellow. As they drew closer I started to notice that behind them the grass was turning greener, the flowers were blooming, the animals where happier. When the beings were in front of me they started to disperse and formed a circle. Then all the beast bowed there heads to me and the orb of light got lower until it touched the ground and that's when I woke up.

As I saw my same room I wished I lived in a different world where magic was real and I didn't have to be bored everyday with the same routine. Wake up, eat breakfast, get ready for school, go to school, get back home, eat, do homework, and sleep. I don't have any friends because they think I'm weird and they just think I might do something to them. At first it was frustrating but my father told me don't worry you will understand when your time comes. So I let everything pass even if it hurt.

Oh by the way my name is Pyrothrax I'm 15 I have black hair and light blue eyes. I am white skinned and have lean muscles. Everyone always says I could be a pro at swimming.

I start taking a bath since today was a free day of school and I felt odd, the water was going from hot to cold and in the room there was a breeze which actually surprises me since we don't have windows in the bathroom. When I finish, I dry myself and I get dressed. Suddenly I remembered that today was my birthday and that certainly perk up my mood. As I went running to the kitchen to see my mom and dad already making breakfast. In the back of my mind I noticed that I reached the kitchen faster than normal but I just brushed that thought off as a result of adrenalin. As soon i reached my father he hug me and I hug him back.

"Happy birthday Buddy" he said to me smiling. I saw a twinkle in his eyes like he's expecting something to happen.

"Thanks dad" I tell him looking at him suspiciously.

"Happy birthday sweetie" my mom said putting the breakfast on the plate and putting it on the table.

"Thanks mom" I said as I sit down and started eating.

As I ate I started to feel odd again and the cup of juice my mom put on the table shattered to pieces. I jumped startled and my father just looked at me expectantly. I look at him and think "man dad is being extra weird today" and mom immediately cleaned up the mess saying something that sounded like "here we go".

When I was about to ask them why they were being so weird my father started speaking.

"Son as you already know today is your 16th birthday. The day where you start defining yourself as an adult." As he said this I noticed the emphasis in defining.

"Today it's a very important day and there will be some special guests coming over to see you and explain to you some special things, today you will be experiencing some unusual things happening to you but I remember all of this will be explained when the guests arrive." I looked at my father smiling at me and my mother trying to smile but I can see clearly in her face that she's sad.

"Can you at least tell me what happened with the glass?" I asked them wanting to get that weird event explained thinking that it was some sort of prank from my father.
