[a sequel to the amazing book My Fake Boyfriend by @ToTheExtreme49]

This book idea is from the one and only @ToTheExtreme49, and all credit goes to her. Her writing is extraordinary and all she has to do is let me know if she wouldn't like me writing a sequel to her book. She hasn't been on Wattpad for a very long time, and I can only expect that to be her focusing on University work, but I shall still hope she is okay.

- Ally, a young god with a lost soul and a passion for writing.

Alexis's POV 🔹

"So, you've stolen Aaron and Justin from me?"

The glow coming from the kitchen light blinds me along with confusion. Stealing Aaron and Justin from her? Since when did I cheat on Aaron and flee the town? I think I need to check my hearing.

"W-what?" I quirk a single eyebrow up, unable to register the words coming out of Avalon's mouth.
"You heard me, Lexi." she puts emphasis on my nickname, as if mocking me. Someone needs to set this girl in check.

She continues, "You stole Aaron, my boyfriend, from me and now you're going for my best friend?"

Aaron, my boyfriend

My stomach sinks, and suddenly I can't move. Aaron was only supposed to give her a second chance! I shouldn't have expected anything less from him. Avalon is the love of his life. He can't let her go, and he didn't want to put me down the hard way. I really thought I was wanted. I can't believe I let myself be fooled by the playboy. Words struggle to make their way out of my mouth, having been jumbled up into the sinking pit inside of my stomach.

Realizing I'm not going to finish my sentence, Avalon begins speaking again, "I know you're trying to replace me, but Aaron clearly still loves me. Your pathetic attempts for attention are useless. I can't believe you thought he actually liked you, Alexis." And with that, she sauntered off, two popcorn bowls in her hand, leaving me stunned in the middle of my kitchen.

Now, I'd never wish death upon anyone. Ever. But I wish she would drown in a swimming pool while trying to seduce my boyf- Aaron. Trying to seduce Aaron. The school's playboy. The one who you are most definitely not in love with in the slightest. Get it together, Alexis!

Danny's chirpy voice sounds from the living room, his complaints filling my ears, "What's taking you so long, Lexi? I need food inside of my chest and I need it now!"

"I've told you a thousand times, Danny, food doesn't go into your chest, it goes into your stomach." Justin sounds exasperated, as if trying to explain to a 3 year old that four goes after three, not before it. I totally have not wanted to slap a kid while teaching them how to count. I've just realized how aggressive I sound... it's Justin's fault, not mine? And it's also not my fault I'm a woman who is at a month where her moods falter and change the most. But that's private.

"They're the same thing! And I'm still hungry." Danny says, his voice slightly muffled.

"Danny you're eating popcorn." Justin tries to reason with him before he begins complaining even more.

Danny shouts, as if defending himself, "Damn right I'm eating popcorn!"

"Shut up before I shove the popcorn bowl into your face." I hear Aaron's angelic voice. The voice that lied. The voice that didn't say 'I love you' back.

"Yeah, shut up before he shoves the popcorn bowl into your face, Justin!" Danny somehow manages to say, with an obvious mouth full of popcorn.

Aaron sighs, "I was talking to you, Danny."
"Oh." is the last thing I hear before Aaron starts talking again.
"And stop eating all of the popcorn! Avalon made that!"

Avalon speaks immediately after him, a sickeningly sweet sound, "It's okay, Aaron. It was super easy to make. Just pop it into the microwave for, like, 80 seconds and you're done. Even Danny could do it. Though it burnt my freaking hands!" she chuckles. Wow, she's a great actor. She almost sounds kind.

But she definitely isn't, because she left me so much stuff to carry. She should be glad I'm not in full anger mode right now. I pick up half of the food and cups from the kitchen table, and begin making my way towards the living room. And as I push my foot towards the door to open it, I see something that she shouldn't be glad about.

Aaron and Avalon's hands are intertwined with one another as they laugh quietly at each other. The reason why she shouldn't be glad about this? I'm usually a pretty chilled and calm person. But, with all the crap I'm balancing in my life right now, I'm in full anger mode. And that's pretty unfortunate for her, because I'm carrying popcorn and soda. Hey, I heard there's a legend that soda helps keep your hair healthy. Let's give it a go.
