My eyes widened when my name was said by the president of all the Banks Of California.
I began to shiver as I stood with a proud smile forming on my face.
"A round of applause for President Valda as she comes!"
I walked briskly and confidently towards the front of the conference room to accept my certificate from Mr. Flynn while pictures were taken of both of us.
I thought to myself, "Soon enough, we'll do this again, except that I'll be wearing a white dress, and we'll be holding each other instead."
