Chapter 8

Alli's POV

"Good morning!" I said to the dogs as they stretched out on the bed. Zoey jumped off the bed and ran out of the room, Marley stared at me then followed her. Within a few seconds I hared the bell. "I'm coming ZoZo" I slowly got out of bed and walked into the living room. I opened the door and took the girls to the pond. "Wow, looks like a storms coming" said to myself as I took out my phone. I looked at the date and froze "Charles is sapost to come home today... But if a storm comes his flight will be delayed!" I texted char to see if it was delayed, and walked back inside the house with the girls "well let's eat" I put dog food into there bowls. Then I made my own breakfast.

In the middle of my grocery run, my phone rang. "Hello?" I said as I graded a can of soup. "Yes, hello, are you Alli Trippy?" A loud and crackly voice spoke "yup that's me" I hared paper shuffle "I'm very sorry to report, but you husband.." I cut them off "the planes delayed?" I hared a loud sigh "no Mrs. Trippy, your husband had a seizure " I froze "h-he did!?" I hared a quit raspy voice from the phone "Mrs.Trippy... Charles is fine, just a little banged up" I almost fell over "ya but he had a seizure!"

Charles POV 4 hours ago

I got in the cab to get to the air port, the show was great, but I felt like the lights were messing with me. I told the cab driver to stop at Mc Donald's. I got out and pay him, I'm bit going to eat air plane food. I through the door and stopped. I felt a wave of heat, and almost fell over " I think I'm getting sick.." I mumbled to myself, I walked to the register and was just about to order, when I felt a familiar strike in my brain. For the first time in 4 years I was having a seizure . I fell to the cold floor.
