The Neighbors Brother (Chapter 2)

I opened the door expecting to see James but instead there was an unfamiliar face. A very attractive unfamiliar face, he looked so familiar but yet again I think i would have remembered seeing him before.

"Oh uh hi I'm Dave." He ran his hand over his hair and down to rest on the back of his neck and held out his other hand for me.

"Nice to met you Dave, I'm Mia." I shook his hand. My heart started to race the second my fingers grazed his palm.

"Is James here?" He looked behind me. His eyebrows going up as he saw Talli wiggling her fingers at him. She is the biggest flirt i'd ever met and I was a bar tender for three years. So many guys and girls spitting game and not a single one was more flirty than Talli. The sassy little blonde brit was the biggest flirt there had ever been.

"Haha no James is right across the hall." As I pointed over to James's door I noticed that his eyes only looked at the door briefly before he took a peak at me threw the corner of his eye.

"Oh I'm sorry." He laughed, he had a cute laugh.

"It's not a problem, if you don't mind me asking how do you know James?" Cute poker buddy, gay lover maybe?

"Well I'm his younger brother actually." Holy good genetics. Brothers like that just aren't fair.

"Are you going out with us tonight?" I wouldn't mind, he seemed like he could use a good night out. He just looked tense and stressed, you could see it in the worry lines on his forehead.

"You and James are going out tonight?" His eye's widened a tiny bit.

"Yeah for my twenty first birthday oh and with my friend Talli." I looked behind me she must have gone into my bedroom.

"I just might." He smiled at me. That smile was just like James's. I turned around as i heard Talli walk up behind me. She leaned around me and waved to Dave.

"So James's little brother are you single?" A flirtatious tone seeping from her red painted lips.

"Talli!" I yelled at her, hitting her arm.

"Doesn't hurt to ask." Giggling she winking at Dave. Which he replied to with a smile. "I am single." .

"Woo woo." Talli started to laugh again.

"So are you going with?" Her slim body leaning against the door frame.

"Uh sure why not." He smiled down at me.

"Well go tell your brother that we are almost ready to go." I returned his grin. He turned around and walked to his brothers apartment. We watched him the entire time until he knocked on his brothers door, then steered Talli away from the door and shut it.

"Hoooooot." I said fanning myself for dramatic effect. Both of them were to good looking.

"I know, mama likes dem brothers." She bit her lip. I walked past her into my disheveled bedroom to get my purse. Packing peanuts crunching under my feet.

"You like all of them you know." I said rolling my eyes.

"What do you mean by that?" She hissed.

"You like all men, every last attractive male on this planet." I teased.

"Well yeah there attractive men!" She laughed. I went into my bathroom and did a quick once over. I looked pretty good I must admit. My hair was wavy and rich brown and finally long again. (once upon a time I went and got a hair cut and she chopped my hair off! Well she cut it way to short.) My blue eyes where dark and looked grayish which is how I like um. I pulled my black dress down a bit and went back out to Talli.

"Doesn't mean you have to flirt with them i'm surprised you didn't slip your "card" out of your bra to give him." I laughed and sat on a bar stool next to her.

"You have to get yourself out there Mia, you'll find out sooner or later." She grabbed her sparkling gold heels off the.counter and slid them on to her pedicured feet.

"I don't want to attract just anyone I want to attract a good guy." I rested my head on the bar. They are so far and few.

"Oh whatever, when was the last time you got laid?" Her voice was pure sass.

"Its been a while..." It had been a very long while. About two years to be exact. I hadn't been in a relationship with sex in it since I moved into the city.

"Define a while." Her arms crossed as she looked down at me.

"Two years or so." I mumbled.

"Two years!" I sprung up as she yelled it.

"Quite!" I smacked my hand over her flopped open mouth.

"That's way to long how are you surviving?" She looked at me shocked as tho I would die from not having a dick inside me.

"I haven't had time, nor have I wanted to." Waving it off as if it was nothing was the best approach for me. I wanted to have sex don't get me wrong but there had to be feelings of love in order for me to even consider it.

"I am getting you laid tonight!" She proclaimed. As i began to protest there was a knock at the door.

"No your not end of story!" She tried to say something else but I ignored her and answered the door.

James stood there with a sligh smile on his face.

"Ready to live it up birthday girl?" Talli came up behind me and pushed me out the door.

"Yes she is!" and with that we headed off to a club.
