Prologue
"Ty, how do you get yourself in these situations? First, you just up and change schools like it was nothing. Then, you start fucking around with another female. To add on to that now you're telling me that your on an undercover mission to scope out some other school?!, " says one of my good friends KB. "Not to mention that you're basically living two lives, the one back home, and the one you have there in Atlanta. How did you even get in this mess in the first place?"
To be honest I don't even know how this happened myself. I look over my shoulder from my spot at the window to check on Lani. She's the girl I met when I first moved out here for school. She looked so peaceful. I looked back out the window, "Bro, I don't even know. One minute, I'm in Houston living with my mom trying to get my shit for school together, next thing I know, I just left. Nothing planned for when I got out here but the school I wanted to get into. Thankfully I got in with no problems. I wasn't thinking to tell y'all when I left. It was a 1..2..3," I said as honestly as my heart meant it. I can practically hear KB on the other end thinking about what I said. "I'm not gone judge you because we all have our own shit to deal with. At least you let me know about it. So when are you gone let me come over there and see what you've been up to, " she finally answered. "I don't know when exactly bro, but it'll be soon. I'll talk to you later" "Bye, bro. Talk to you later," she replied.
KB and I are like long lost sisters. We talk about any and everything, serious and goofy. We've been friends going on 6 years now. I met her my sophomore year in high school. We've just been cool ever since. I'm brought out of my thoughts when I feel Janet wrap her arms around me. I turn around, looking at her wrapping my arms around her waist. She had a lazy smile on her face. You know the one you give when you've just woken up? Yeah, that's the smile she's giving me right now. With her head lying on my chest. It's cute. She's actually freaking adorable but she doesn't like when I tell her that. She looks up at me and places a small kiss on my lips. I just look at her and smile
