I felt someone kneel next to me and pull me into a hug. I immediately knew it was Mal.
"E.... Please, its okay I'm here for you." she said and I wrapped my arms around her neck. I kept crying for about five minutes until I finally was able to calm down. I pulled away from Mal and looked her in the eyes, she was afraid.
"I'm okay now.. Really.." I said almost in a whisper, not talking really does a number on you. Mal smiled slightly and turned to face everyone else.
"Okay, you can all go." she said and they all filed out of the room. Now it was just me and her in the room.
"So, Evie are you gonna tell me whats wrong?" she asked and I frowned.
"M, if I tell you you'll think I'm insane." I said and she laughed.
"E you're insane for thinking that." she said and I laughed a little. She helped me stand up. And looked me in the eyes again.
"So, will you tell me?" She asked desperately. I shook my head and turned to walk out. She sighed a bit disappointed but followed me out.
"Evie, at least please talk.. It really sucks having no one to talk to." she said stepping in front of me.
"Fine, but I am not telling you Mal." I replied as my voice cracked and walked away. Mal scoffed clearly annoyed.
"Geez girl chill, I was only asking for you to talk to me, not for your deepest secrets." she said and I froze and clenched my fist. Mal looked at me and realized she had crossed some lines.
"Sorry E.." she started but I put my hand up and stormed away remembering what happened to Audrey when I got mad at her. I slightly turned my head back to make sure Mal was alright she was standing in the hallway frowning a bit and looking at the floor. I frowned but continued to walk. I ended up loosing myself in my thoughts because I ran right into Fairy Godmother.
"Hi Evie, everyone tells me you've been a bit mute recently, is everything alright?" she asked and I put on the fakest smile and nodded. She looked at me dissapointed and shook her head.
"Now Evie out of everyone I would have never expected to catch you lying to a teacher." she said and I frowned a little.
"I'm not lying, I really am fine and just want everyone to stop bugging me!" I said letting my temper rise a bit higher then it should have. Suddenly i felt the ground shake and heard a scream in the distance. Me and FG both looked around. I ran down the hall a little and saw Mal lying on the floor bleeding, I saw the windows that were behind her were shattered and the glass was surrounding her, some students were helping her get to the infirmary. I gasped and slowly started to back up. Fairy Godmother looked down the hallway then back at me.
"Evie, we need to talk.. Now." she said. I ignored her and turned to run. I couldn't believe I almost just killed my best friend.I hope you enjoyed this chapter! Will update again soon! >:D what do you think will happen?
