"Tell me Jessica, have you ever been in love?" The middle aged woman named 'Justice' asked in a serious tone.
"Are you being serious?" I asked just to be sure of what I was hearing was really going on.
"Of course I am my dear, it's a way to move on from the past." This was said in a more motherly tone that I had yet gotten used to.
"This is ridiculous, you don't need to know about my love life." I'm pretty sure I hurt her feelings by this point.
"Well answer this question for me won't you dear?" I had a bad feeling about this.
"How did you cope with the miscarriage?" Well shit, I was right.
"I don't see how this has to do with my life right now."
"Well mistakes made in the past affect us now" she said sweetly like a grandma comforting a child.
"How do you even know about that?"
"I have access to your medical files, you were abused as a child right?" That threw me off the edge.
"Okay, okay, can I start where I want to?" Hoping I could start all over again.
"Of course dear, we could've avoided most of this if you just answered my first question." Laughing, she was fucking laughing, this is going to be a long day.
"Well, his name was, is Alex. And he was one of my greatest friends ever, yet we fell in love..."
"You seem confused" she said....
