"Amanda Crystal Mason. Get out of that god damn bed or you're going to be late to school." My grandma called from upstairs.

"Alright, alright. I'm up." I shouted back. Damn I shouldn't have stayed up till two playing Call of Duty. But still I mean, how else could I have learned how to curse in thirteen different languages?

I sleepily got off the bed and dragged myself towards the bathroom. Yikes, my hair looked like a fucking bird nest. After I finished taming that bird's home from on top of my head, taking a hot shower and brushing my teeth, I started to get ready. This part of my day is actually quite simple. First I get one of my many black skinny jeans, then pull out a random band t-shirt or some other crap top and finish this look off with my infamous leather jacket and high heel, leather, ankle boots (yeah I'm that specific, deal with it). I'm not really big on makeup though so the most I wear on a normal day, or let me be honest when I'm too lazy/ don't have time, is mascara and lipstick that's about it. And no, I don't need to do my eyebrows, they on fleek on their own.

"Morning, mi familia!" I yell as I walked upstairs from my basement bedroom and find my grandma and grandpa sitting at the dining table eating breakfast. Yes, I smell bacon.

"Y'all started without me..." With that my grandma just laughed. She laughed. She is just too savage sometimes.

Now you're most likely thinking why I live with my grandparents and no, it's not because my parents are dead or anything, they're just in a different country. You see, both my parents were born here, in my home town New York, but we had left when I was 2 years old to live with my mom's family in the Caribbean, Trinidad to be more specific. But I left there when I was 13 to come back to New York to live with my grandparents. Now three years later, I'm in my Junior year at Lakewood High School home of the Wolves. And best of all, I'm part of the Elites but I'll explain that later.

I happily sat down at the table but when I looked at the clock I realized I had a student council meeting in ten minutes. Fuck, no bacon. I started to rush grabbing a protein bar and snatching my bag, keys and helmet on the way out. When I got to the garage I hopped onto my black BMW K 1300 S.

Yup you heard right I've got that bad-ass baby as my ride to school

Yup you heard right I've got that bad-ass baby as my ride to school.

After about 15 minutes I arrived at school. I mean it so stupid right, who in their right mind would have a student council meeting on the first day of school? Honestly though, the student council president is my best friend, I wonder what is going through her head sometimes. I walked to the student lounge to see all the council members there already. I might be in a bit of trouble for this. Oh well this may be funny.

My best friend stormed towards me rather quickly if I might add. "You have to be joking right you're six minutes late!"

"Lisa, calm your herbs. And by the way a queen is never late, everyone else is simply early." Alisa just rolled her eyes at me. Rude much.

We sat down and let the meeting proceed. Honestly I don't really listen in on these meetings. But this semester we have two dances to plan and somehow I always end up in charge of these. So yada yada yada Halloween Bash blah blah blah Winter Ball yada yada yada. Honestly the principal says the same thing in the assembly hall for the start of term program on Friday so I don't know why I need to be in school at seven fucking thirty in the morning. Man I'm tired and I didn't even get my fucking bacon.

"So what do you think Amanda?" Lisa questioned. Oh I was supposed to be listening. Haha she knows that won't happen.

"Since you obviously weren't listening we wanted to know if you could take charge of the Halloween Bash and Winter Ball?" See what I tell you.

"Sure I'm down with that." I replied. "Is this meeting over now?"

"Yeah we're done now." Lisa announced. We all strolled out for the first day of hell. Lisa and I headed out to the back of building C where our crew normally hang out.

So I think it's time I tell you guys about the elites.

The elites a group of students, who are deemed good enough chosen by the senior elites in sophomore year, to continue on with their 'legacy'. Each group can only have a maximum of fifteen people and in my year we have 11.

Each elite was chosen for different reasons. Most of us are chosen for popularity or money, others are chosen for actions and attitude. In the elites it is forbidden to take someone out or add someone in without the consent of the entire group and by entire group I mean all the elites still attending the school. The elites are kind of a big deal in our school though. Just like any other school we have a social ladder. Though we have it that doesn't mean we follow through with it. In our school bulling is sunned on so this is why we have a social ladder. At the top you have your typical jocks and cheerleaders. After them you have your drama club, emo/scene kids, dancers and choir/glee club. And at the bottom you have the typical geeks, nerds and outcasts but honestly I think stereotypes fucking suck. The elites don't fit in with the normal stereotypes because our group consists of people from each clique.

In the junior year, we have:
•the 'jock' Matthew Knights
•the 'outcast' Asher Knights
•the 'drama queen' Ricardo Daniels
•the 'geek' Michael Harrison
•the 'nerd' Niko Toda
•the 'bad boy' Blaze Anderson
•the 'glee' Alisa Clair
•the 'emo' Elizabeth Bennett
•the 'cheerleader' Miranda Logan
•the 'dancer' Reiko Toda
• and well the 'bad girl' the one and only Amanda Mason.

We are always together, we support each other and most of all we care for each other. Trust me it's like one big family.
