A Big Mistake

Chapter 6

Blair pov

The next morning I got up at 6 am to make sure I was ready for the day and to pack my things as after school I was going to go down the council to see if they had anywhere for me to stay even though I know Mattie would let me stay at hers for a few days it wasn't fair on her. I woke up to my annoying alarm on my phone and turned it off hoping it wouldn't have waked any of Mattie's parents up. I got up and grabbed my outfit for the day and then went to the bathroom and got dressed and did my teeth. After I put my things that I had got out away in the suitcases I had. Mattie wasn't far behind me and then we both walked downstairs and prepared out school bags then left them on the kitchen side as we made our self's some toast and ate it chatting in the process. Once we were done we turned on some music in the living room and chatted for 10 minutes until it was time to go as we went earlier as I needed to talk to Mr Brooks or as Hugo as I first met him. We got our bags and then went a day jumped into Mattie's car. We didn't talk during the car ride I think we both were just thinking about the conversation I was gonna have with Mr Brooks as no one can find out yet and when we do then we will both be in trouble. After a short car ride which felt like a lot shorter car ride than normal we pulled into school and found a parking space easily and it was early but there was still quite a lot of students there. We both got out and Mattie could tell that I was nervous so she came up to me and put her hands on my arms then said 'youre going to be fine or I will kick his butt ok? 'I nodded and smiled knowing that if he was an idiot then Mattie would actually kick his butt she wouldn't care. We both walked into school together not saying a word as I was thinking about what I was about to do. Mattie walked with me until we got to outside his office she mouthed good luck and then walked off. I lifted my hand to knock then I knocked 3 times before I heard a come in. I walked in and Mr Brooks was sat at his desk and he said ' hello Blair your early this morning ' 'I was wondering if I could talk to you ' I said with my nerves not helping me. He got up and then went and sat on one of the two sofas he had to face each other in his office no clue why he has them but yeah and then he motioned for me to go sit across from him and then said ' you can talk to me about anything you know that ?' I nodded but I wasn't sure if I could actually do this and whether this classed as anything for me to talk to him about.
