"Don't you dare throw that at me!" I warn Miles, while he throws the peas on his spoon at me. I manage to bend down right before the peas hit me. I laugh maliciously while I grab a handful of peas and throw them back at him. They were thrown at his face, but the lack of strength used to throw them, caused them to fall on his lap. "Really Gray?", Miles asks with a face of disbelief. "I thought you could do better." he says looking down. I immediately start laughing at his terrible sarcasm. I throw myself at him and seconds later he lies on the grass, almost fully covered by the insane amount of hair on my head, as my lips touch his.

"Tomorrow our first summer holiday together will be over..." I say disappointed, while Miles caresses his hand through my hair. "It went by so fast, but I mean, I wouldn't change it for anything," he says, reminding me of why I love him. I sit back down and take a strawberry from the rose colored plate. Strawberries are my favorite types of berries, and Miles knows this, that's why he brought them to this perfect picnic he organized. He pretends to like them as much as I do, but I secretly know that he prefers cherries way more.

Miles stands up and holds out his hand. "I will bring you home", he says along with it. I take his hand, and he pulls me up. The rest of the picnic had already been packed away. Hand in hand we walked along the flowing river towards our homes. We arrive at my home. I take my keys out of the pocket of my dress, and look at Miles. "I will see you tomorrow", I say seductively while looking at his lips. Miles took a step towards me, his head towering above mine. I looked up into his eyes, and then his lips. His face was getting closer, and I too, was leaning in. His soft lips touched mine, and I soon recalled the taste of strawberries in my mouth.

I pulled away and pushed the door open. I looked back once more and hugged him for a little while. One of the things that made Miles so charming was that he was a tall, good looking guy, and hugging him meant relaxing my head on his chest. The dream of every single girl.

I quickly walked through the hallway to the stairs, leading to my bedroom. "Grace, won't you come down to have a cup of tea my dear?", my mom calls from downstairs. "Mom, I promised Bri I would be at her house in 15 minutes, and I still need to pack my bags!", I yell downstairs while pulling a bag out of my closet, and filling it quickly with some clothes. I took my new school bag, and ran downstairs. Normally it wouldn't be a problem to be at Brea's house in time, but since she moved to a house further away from mine, I had to walk 10 minutes more to get there. "I will see you tomorrow mom! Goodnight!", I whisper in her ear while I kiss her cheek and walk towards the door.

About 10 minutes later I arrive at Brea's house and ring the bell. "Hey Bri!" I say excited when she opens the door a few seconds later. "Gray, I haven't seen you in so long!", she responds while stepping away from the door, allowing me to enter. We walked up the stairs to the attic, where the bedroom of Brea was located. On the bed lies a bar of chocolate, and two cups filled with tea.

"Would you r-" I try saying, before getting interrupted by Bri's laugh, filling the whole room. I immediately join her, and soon we are rolling on the bed, hands to our stomach, thinking this would stop the pain in our tummy's from laughing. After a few minutes we calm down, and I try asking her again. "Would you rather, not be able to eat chocolate for a month, or not see Nathan for a whole year?" I say smirking at her. "I would definitely stop eating chocolate for him" she says blushing slightly, while I wink at her.

A couple of hours later, we lie in bed. Our pajamas are on, and we are giggling about the thought of Brea and Nathan dancing together at the prom.

The next morning is the first day of our second year in high school, sophomore year. Brea and I are waiting outside of the first classroom for Miles. He is usually late... The bell rings, and Bri and I step inside of the classroom and take our seats. "Good morning students, and welcome back to Lauren Spring High school, we've missed you" the teacher says with a mean look on his face, while he starts his lesson.

After the first day of school is over, the first soccer match of the new school year starts, and of course Bri and I will be there to witness it. No, not as cheerleaders. The cheerleaders of our school are also known as the popular girls. Miles and Nathan hang out with them, but get tired after listening to their make-up talk for hours.

Nathan is Miles' best friend, and hangs out with us a lot during school. Miles and Nathan are the stars of the soccer team, and Brea and I attend to each and every match. Brea has had a crush on Nathan ever since he moved from Australia into our city about two years ago. When Miles and I started dating, Nathan and Brea started hanging out more. I personally think Nathan has feelings for her too, but when Miles and I interrogate him, he denies it.

"Yeah!" Brea and I yell when the boys score a goal. We are not the only ones cheering for them. Behind us on the bleachers is a whole other crowd jumping and yelling. In the middle of the crowd, sits Tiffany, the head cheerleader. Looking down at her foot, I see why she's not jumping with the rest of her friends, her leg is covered in gypsum. "What happened to Tiffany's leg?" I ask Brea while turning back at her. "Oh she fell while cheerleading. It was very amusing! She fell in front of the whole school!" Brea says laughing at the memory of it. I turn back around and see Tiffany looking at something. She can't keep her eyes off of it. I turn back to view the game, and see Miles running towards Nathan, giving him a high five. She was looking at Milo, my boyfriend.
