Chapter 28❤

Miracle. (Quan in the Multi-Media)

   Lately, I've been spending a lot of time with Carmelo and Quan. I've decided to stay focused on them. Carmelo is still in the hospital but is supposed to be released today. The doctors are surprised that bullet didn't paralyze him. Jose got sent to prison last week because he was healing up pretty fast.

   I haven't received any call from Qua or anybody which is really weird. The only person that calls is Rich, well and Dex but they aren't Quavo. I wanna speak with him. Whenever I asked about him they say he's doing fine and change the subject. But, if he's doing fine then why hasn't he called me?

   I brushed that thought off and picked up Quan bad ass. The kids are growing up so fast. Mekhi is about to be five, Kj is 4, Carmelo is one year and nine months, Quan's about to be five months, Kailen's about to be two months and Kilee is one month. They're making me feel old.

"Ready to get Carmelo, Mekhi?" I asked holding my hand out for him to grab it.

"Yup." He smiled, firmly grabbing my hand.

  I smiled and led him out my door. Everyone had went home last week so it's just me and the boys. I closed the door behind us and walked to my Benz. Speaking of cars, I'm getting a Rolls Royce sometime this week. I opened the back door, putting Quan in his booster seat. I buckled him up and then did the same to Mekhi.

  I walked around and got into the driver's seat, starting the car. I pulled off and headed straight to the hospital, avoiding as many red lights as I could.

"Mommy!" Carmelo shouted, smiling as I walked into the room.

"Melo!" I playfully mimicked him, kissing his forehead.

"I leaving today?" He asked furrowing his tiny eyebrows.

"Yup. I brought you some clothes so you can get changed." I showed him the all gray shirt, ninja turtles jacket, camo jeans and purple, black, gray &'d green Jordans.

  He smiled and slowly lifted up to grab the shoes. He examined them as if he was expecting something to jump off it. I shook my head, laughing. Just then, his doctor came into the room. He sent me a friendly smile.

"Are you here to sign him out?" He asked, picking up a clip board that hung on the end of his bed.

"Yes, do you have the papers?" I question.

He nodded and handed me the papers, telling me where to sign. After I finished that, I looked at Carmelo and he was stuck in his shirt. I laughed because he should know which part to put his head in by now. I helped him and then put his pants on him then we exited the hospital, getting into the car.

"Where y'all wanna go?" I asked, willing to take them anyways.

"Can we go get more toys?" Mekhi asked and Carmelo nodded in agreement. Quan squealed as if he knew what we were talking about.

"Yeah." I nodded and made a left, heading towards ToysRUs.

I parked the car and got out the car. I took Mekhi and Carmelo out their booster seats then Quan out if his car seat. Right when we walked in there, Mekhi and Carmelo took off. Carmelo bounced back to himself as if he didn't just leave the hospital. I wanted him to take it easy for a while but that obviously wasn't gonna happen.

"Don't act like this when you're older." I said to Quan who was resting on my hip.

He smiled and started playing with my lips with his tiny hands. I started sped walking around the store to find them.

"Look Melo!" I heard Mekhi shout.

I followed his voice. Once I finally seen them. They were talking to a man with his hood on. He held his hand out and they grabbed it, smiling. I quickly walked over to them and tapped him on his shoulder, ready to cuss him out. He turned around and guess who it was?

"Wassup sis." He smirked.

"Set, you was boutta get cussed out." I laughed.

"You the one that should be getting cussed out. Control these little demons." He tells me. They kicked him and both legs.

I laughed as he swore. I looked down at them and notice a little boy around Carmelo's age and Kj, who was holding Kilee.

"Hey Auntie." Kj smiled, hugging me.

"Hey Kj. Kiari, who's this little cutie?" I asked going down to his height. He was shyly hiding behind Offset's leg.

"That's King Kody." Kiari proudly smiled.

"Aww, he's so cute and little." I said brushing my hand through his little curls. "Thank god he doesn't have yo nappy ass hair."

"Shut up. He got my looks." He stated.

"Ehh." Carmelo look at Kiari then Kody and shook his head.

We laughed and Offset smacked his lips and pushed him. He always arguing with these kids. He's low key a big ass kid like Qua.

"What y'all doing after y'all leave?" Kiari asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I don't know. What bout you?"

"We having a movie night. Wanna come?"

"Duhh nigga as long as watching a scary movie." He nodded in agreement.

"No, they might have nightmares." I stressed, referring to the kids.

"They'll be alright. Y'all not pussies right?" He asked the kids.

They all smiled and shook their heads quickly. I hit his shoulder and playfully rolling my eyes.

All the kids got two toys each before we left and headed to my house...
