Prologue
I am the perfect girlfriend.
Smart, beautiful, and artistic, I'm a tall brunette with a great sense of humor and a strong sense of commitment.
Of course, that's what my online profile says. Even I'm not that boastful. And don't go making assumptions just yet; I may be seventeen and single, but that does not mean I'm ready for an online dating profile. No, my online profile isn't for guys to check me out and see me as a potential hook-up. It's for parents to check up on me and see if I'm a potential girlfriend for their sons.
Yep, you've got it: I'm a paid girlfriend. Parents see me as the perfect girl who would be a great influence on their troublesome sons. I date them for a few weeks- at high interest- and then voila! They are cured of their... boyishness.
I transform them into men, make them get their priorities in line and feel like they're worth something. At least, that's what I tell myself. In reality, I just make them happy, spend time with them. There's really no tricks to it, I just talk to them. And of course, a little making-out doesn't help either.
I make a pretty good profit; these days, I pull in about three hundred a month. I tell parents I see my business as a way to give back to the community and to help others. But really I just see it as a lucrative way to make money.
But enough of my blabbering. Let's get on with the story, shall we?
