I could the scales growing up my arms and on my neck. I tightened my scarf. "Dragons Calling Season is a time when dragons have found their partner for life. Unfortunately its also a time when they kinda level up in power. There are several stages for both the dragonslayer and mate," Levey read out loud. I began to sweat. Stages for both the mate and dragonslayer? Lucy nodded and motioned for Levey to continue reading. The guild hall somehow didn't seem as safe as it usually seemed. "Stage one is splitting personality's. The human and the dragon aspects if the dragonslayer split. This causes the person immense pain. Stage two is anger and uncontrollable bursts of power. To contain and keep others safe simply allow their partner to stay with them at all times. Stage three is physical changes in both the mate and dragonslayer. Such as scales, fangs sometimes wings or tails. They will fade away once the season is complete. Stage four is the pledge. The partners must pledge to each other so the season will end. The pledge also bonds the partners for life," Lucy intrupped "its like getting married," everyone blushed a bit. "That's all the really important information," Levey finished. "We should check on them," Mira said in a light tone. I walked a bit faster then everyone else. I don't know why but I felt colder without Wendy. I went to her bedside. She looked so cold. I picked her up in my arms and hugged her. "Wake up Wendy," I begged. I felt scared for her. "Romeo I'm okay but we need to talk about you," Wendy whispered. I nearly cried. She was okay. "What's it Wendy," I asked. "Romeo the Dragons Calling will mostly affect you not me," she whispered.
