"Your lying! Why are you always working?" I shouted at Tyler. He had been coming home late every night sometimes not coming home till the next morning saying 'he was working'.
"Working I told you! Why don't you believe me?" He yelled back at me. "I'm just trying to make extra money."
"Why do you need to do that you make enough money already. It's not like you have more than one person to support. You pay rent and some other bills. You don't have a family or anything to support so why? What's your point?"
"Just trust that it's for a good cause." I was getting furious. He wouldn't admit that he was seeing Amanda from his work. He was cheating on me, it was obvious. I would go to his work to drop off some lunch and she would walk in his office and I would see the way she looked at him and acted towards him. There was a silence then I finally thought what I should do.
" I think we should break up." My voice sounding more calm. I was done. I couldn't do it anymore. We had been arguing awhile now and maybe we just weren't meant to be together.
"What?" There was hurt and confusion in his eyes.
" I would just think it would be for the best right now. Let's just take a break"
" What are you even talking about. We'll be fine. We always argue but we still love each other... Right?" He stared at me waiting for my answer. I stared down at the ground thinking through my answer.
" I'm not so sure anymore." He paused not moving just staring back at me. There was a long silence I guess he was thinking of what to say.
" Well. If that's what you want..." His voice cracked at the end. He stared at me to see if I would say anything else but I didn't know what to say. I couldn't look at him at the moment he sounded more upset than I thought he would. I almost felt bad but then he wouldn't have given up so easily if he wasn't cheating on me. "I love you. If you need anything I'll still be around. " he mumbled before walking out of my apartment. Then that's when the tears came flooding. It wouldn't stop, I got in a ball on the floor.
I was so angry at myself and at him. I kicked the floor and pulled on my hair like a child would when having a tantrum. I covered my face with my hands trying to muffle my loud cries. We had been together for almost four years and now it was over just like that. I cried for a good while before finally calming down. I went to my bedroom. It was filled with pictures of me and Tyler, who had just broken up. Then there were pictures of me and Emily, my best friend who had just gotten in a fight yesterday Over something stupid, a disagreement. We haven't talked to each other but it was what kinda set me off today when I started yelling at Tyler because he was supposed to come by my apartment at six but was about two hours late. He said it was because he had to work it was important he had to finish up something.
The pictures hit me hard I started balling my eyes out again. I remembered all the wonderful days I had spent with them and now I didn't have either of them. I decided I would go see Amanda. She didn't live far from me and I wanted answers. So I loaded up in my car and headed towards her house. Both my hands had an iron grip on the steering wheel my eyes staring straight forward. The more I thought about what I was going to say to her the more I got mad. I pushed my foot down on the gas harder. Then all of the sudden my head yanks forward. I see my phone slam forward along with papers and trash and other things in my car. Then I felt nothing. Everything went dark.••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
So this is my first book. Probably not the best but feel free to give me advice on how to make this sound better. This was just what happened before the coma but if something could be changed to make it better please tell me and let me know if what you think.
