•Luke's POV•

It's been quite sometime since I had a genuine conversation with a fan. In fact, I don't feel like Mikayla's a fan. Instead I feel like I've known her for years, like we've been best friends since forever.

It might sound clichè to but that's what I felt.

M: Alright first question

L: Favourite colour?

M: Hmm I like red and turquoise!

L: All time favourite band?

M: All Time Low!

L: Ahh nice! What are your hobbies?

M: I like surfing, skating, I play the guitar and just spending time on my laptop hahaha..

I kept asking her questions but I was contemplating whether or not to ask personal questions... I had one question left to ask her so why not.

"Last but not least, why we're you crying earlier?" I asked.

There was silence for a minute after that.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked the question" I said fidgeting in my seat.

"No, it's okay.. I cried because..I-I've never been far away from family..." She said as a tear rolled down her cheek.

I pulled her towards my side and she rested her head on my shoulder.

"How long will you be in the US?" I asked as I stroked her strawberry scented hair.

"About a year... I'm an intern." she replied.

"Oh I see, well, we'll be in US for about a year too, we have lots to do and you know what?" I said

"What is it Luke?" She replied sitting up straight in her seat.

"I'll introduce you to the boys and we can all be best friends!" I said cheerfully.

"Are you serious Luke?!" She asked with excitement in her voice.

•Mikayla's POV•

I was so happy when Luke said we can all be best friends!

"Thank you so much Luke" I said giving him a side hug.

After an hour or so of talking, both of us got tired and felt sleepy and decided to call it a night.

"Goodnight Kay" Luke said kissing me on the forehead.

"Goodnight Luke" I said smiling at him tiredly.

•A few hours later•

•Luke's POV•

"Ting ting ting.. ting ting.."

"Huhh" I was awaken by the alarm. I checked my iPhone, it was only 2:15 am.

I look over at the people beside me, everyone's asleep. I turned over to Mikayla and saw her watch blinking and it was the source of the sound.

I wanted to wake her up but she looked so peaceful asleep. So I decided to switch off her alarm.

After that, I went back to sleep.

•A few hours later•

•Luke's POV•

I heard the sound of coughing, I opened my eyes and saw Mikayla curled up into a ball with her seatbelt off, coughing.

"Kayla, are you okay? Do you want some water?"

"Yeah, I am don't worry. Yes please."

"Hi excuse me, can I have a bottle of water?" I asked an air-steward.

"Luke, excuse me, I need to use the restroom for awhile" she said weakly.

•Mikayla's POV•

I made my way quickly to the restroom and lock myself inside and started coughing hard again. Not long after, I was coughing blood.

"Shit, I must have forgotten to eat my medicines." I said to myself.

I gurgled some water, washing off some blood before making my way back to the seat as the intercom said that we were landing soon.

As soon as I was seated, Luke asked,

"Are you okay? Here, drink some water." he said passing me the bottle of water.

"Yeah I'm fine. Thank you"

I quickly took out my small red and blue medicines bottles out as I started to cough again, bearing the pain in my lungs, shutting out everything around me and quickly consuming them. I felt someone staring but I was holding the pain so bad than to care what was going on.

'What's that?" he asked.

"H-huh? what's what?"I said.

"The capsules you've consumed"

"Oh this? Nothing, just some vitamins, I was dehydrated just now that's why I was coughing so hard I guess.." I replied as I mentally slapped myself forgetting that Luke was beside me when I ate my medicines.

I hope he believes it's vitamins and drop the subject..

Waddupppppp!!!! how are you guys liking the story ?

It's 13/10/13 here and yesterday I went to my BFF's sweet 16th at RWS, I HAD SO MUCH FUNNNNNNNN.
