10:59 p.m. Monday Night
(Trey's P.O.V)
Vanessa and I had finished eating and talking and I sat back in my chair as I looked at her. Her hair was straightened and down, she had in a pair of hoop earrings, her make-up was done beautifully. She had on a tight, short, thigh length Black dress, it was cut low and off the shoulder, she had on a pair of 6' Black Stilettos that made her legs look wonderful. I could smell her Strawberry Vanilla perfume and it smelled amazing. I paid the bill when they laid it down and we both got up from the table. Vanessa grabbed my hand and smiled as she laid her head on my shoulder. We walked outside and got in the car, I pulled out and got onto the main road.
"That was fun." She said
"Glad you enjoyed yourself."
We both laughed and I relaxed back in the seat as I stopped at a stoplight.
"What do you think the girls are up too?"
"Either asleep or doing whatever it is they do when I'm not home."
Vanessa smiled and shrugged.
"Oh god! I can just imagine."
I shrugged and rounded the corner and pulled into the parking lot of the park. Vanessa looked at me and smirked.
"What are we doing here?"
"I got a surprise for you."
"I'm almost a little scared."
"Don't be, you'll love it. I promise."
She sighed and got out the car, I grabbed her hands and pulled her back against my chest.
"Now, do you remember what happened here?"
"Yeah, this is where we met as kids a while back."
"Yeah, and what did I tell you that day?"
"That if I wouldn't be your friend you'd bother me until I was." She said laughing
"Yeah and I guess you didn't want me too constantly bother you, because you accepted my forced friendship."
"Forced? I had a choice, not good choices but a choice."
We both laughed and I nodded.
"Well, I'm glad you accepted that choice."
"Me too."
"If you hadn't, I don't think we'd be here together right now."
"No, we might've been."
"No, you're not easy too get. It took me three tries too get you."
"I enjoyed the chase."
I chuckled and looked at her.
"Well, the chase was damn near impossible."
"What are you thinking now?"
"Now? Well, now I know for a fact that it'll be harder keeping you. But I'll be damned if I don't put an effort into keeping you with me. Ever since square root one, I've repeated one thing in my mind 'she will be mine' and up until the day you and I and finally got together. I haven't been able too keep you off my mind. So tonight, it's the most important moment in my life, because you're not like the others I've been with. Because of that, I got you something."
I said as I reached into my back pocket. I pulled out the necklace I got her, with her name across it and smiled.
"Close your eyes."
She sighed and closed her eyes. I put the necklace around her neck and clipped it on.
"Happy anniversary Vanessa."
She turned too me and I could tell she was about too cry, she braced her arms behind my head and hugged me tightly.
"Thank you Trey."
I smiled and wrapped my arms around her in a tight embrace. She buried her head in my neck and sniffled.
"I love you Trey."
"I love you too."
I said, the smile never leaving my face, I held her tighter and talked into her ear.
"You're mine now."
"You'll always be mine."
She said as she smiled and kissed me deeply. She smiled into the kiss and we both broke away.
