Wolf whistles were such a demeaning sound but I wasn't complaining as I strutted through the night club. The smell of alcohol had hit me in the face and I smiled. It'd been a while since I'd been out clubbing. The walls were vibrating as the horrid house music was being played ridiculously loud, strong enough to break ones ear drums. Taking in the smell, I stalked over to bar and settled myself down.
"Vodka and coke please."
The atmosphere was strong. This was more or less a home for people with the party life. Girls were everywhere, sporting their short dresses and tall heels while boys were roaming around looking for their next lay. It was just how it worked.
"For you, pretty lady." The rugged bartender growled seductively.
I waved him off and placed the cool glass to my lips and tipped it back, enjoying the cool liquid slide down my throat with ease. I slapped the cup down and called for another. I downed the next drink and I pulled myself off the stool and made my way to the dance floor and swayed to the music. The bright strobe lights were bouncing off the walls, illuminating everything that came across it. Bodies were pressed together, grinding upon each other vigorously as beads of sweat formed on their foreheads. It was a pure concentration game for them.
The feeling of a pair of hands grasping my waist brought me out of my daze. The warmness of the hands seeped through the material of my top and I swerved around to look at the guy. His bright green eyes were the main attraction as well as his brown hair that was placed in a quiff but around his ears were little curls wanting to peak. He shamelessly roamed his eyes up and down my body and I just smirked.
He grasped my hand and turned me around and pulled me backwards towards him so my back was flat upon his chest. He placed his hands gently on my waist and he began to circle his hips into mine. I copied his actions and we danced to the beat of the music. I peeled myself off him and walked towards the bar once again to get myself a drink, his presence being felt behind me.
"Straight vodka." I spoke
"Someone's gonna get a tad drunk tonight." I heard the deep husky voice whisper behind my ear.
His accent was strong and thick, causing shivers to run up my spine. The bartender placed the drink in front of me and as I was going to pay, someone had placed a 10 pound note on the table.
"One for me too. Keep the change." He rasped.
His voice was a pleasant sound to listen to and mixed with his strong London accent it made me more willing to speak to him. I gulped my drink down and gasped at the burning sensation that filled my throat. I turned my body to face him and I drank in all his features; his pink plump lips, soft curly hair and mesmerizing green eyes.
"So what's a pretty little thing like you doing around here?"
"Like any other 21 year old; clubbing." I replied bluntly
"Ah, a feisty one I see." He smirked.
My body was beginning to get warm and my brain was whirling. The alcohol was sure as hell taking effect.
